Re: MATCHWATCH : Cardiff City (h) sponsored by a nice quiet evening out

Turned off at fulltime. Did they ask Colin why his team played better after he was sent to the stand?

Re: The Manager Sack Race/Merry-go-Round

Never really had Hull down as a fake tan and baseless optimism kind of city.

Agreed. Champions from each country, knock out competition over two legs from the off. Maybe even a re-brand, call it the European Cup or something. Could always keep the same trophy for a bit of continuity.

Pundits on Sky's Soccer Special currently not knowing/understanding the offside rule. Easy work if you can get it.

probably true, but for my generation his voice will always reson8. Ditto David Coleman, Brian Moore, Bill Mclaren, Richie Benaud etc. When you think about it, who needs comment8ors on telly? I always thought Brian Moore was fcuking shite. Apart from his head looking uncannily like London Planetariu...

Re: Saturday Night Football

Can't remember Chelsea fans complaining that their team kept getting extra rest last season. that was just an example because two teams are playing each other this weekend who competed in the champs league in the week. one plays tuesday in spain, one players wednesday much further away in azerbaija...

Bilic sacked. Moyes who managed Sunderland to bottom place last year set to take over as they try to avoid getting relegated.

Re: Weekend Football

What I liked about the off-side was the co-commentator (Smith?) still not agreeing that it was off-side even after they drew a handy line across the screen for him.

Re: Delé

Remember when Capello tried that with Wilshere? Just got endless grief about playing him as a defensive midfielder and ignored the fact he was playing him as a deep lying play maker. Thank god we don't produce players like Pirlo over here.

Grot who came on for them is an absolute beast and only 19. He dwarfed the Leeds Rhinos players who had a walk around the pitch at halftime.

Re: Opposition fans back from the game

I was chuckling to myself being sat in with the Leeds fans as they passed it around between centre backs and goalkeeper for a prolonged period of the first half. They weren't happy.

Re: Leeds v RFC Back from the Tele

Just got back in the house. Fairly secent game almost broke out in the last 20mins. Thought the whole defence were very good today. Was surprised Aluko went off before McCleary as he was having a decent game. Leeds fans around me weren't happy with the ref at all. Although most of that seemed to ste...

Re: Thames Valley Whites (Leeds United Supporters Club)

So you didn't take to the Yorkshire warmth and straight talking. As someone that's lived in Leeds for the last 20 years I'd say that Yorkshire warmth isn't always immediately evident to people without a Yorkshire accent. Yes its generally friendlier than riding the tube in rush hour London but its ...

+1 - was going thinking of taking Jnr II to his first match but given how exciting our games are at the moment he can wait a bit longer.
