Re: The very latest in STAM OUT threads...with poll

Amazingly bookmakers have us as low as 7/1 to get relegated .... just put a free £30 bet on us. I hope I will lose, but it will be a bit of a consolation if we do get relegated.

Re: The Relegation Years

We are far too good a team to go down IMO. We are in a purple patch. Nothing more. We will finish about 14th I think. Would be very concerned if this was our purple patch... Completely agree, it's nothing. It's only 5 games since our last win. People just seem to go full on d1ck mode in football ci...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Middlesbrough (a) sponsored by a neat finish from Paul Holsgrove

What on earth was Aluko doing answering questions ! He hardly knows what his job is, let alone how to analyse a team in disarray Was thinking the same. And also why was he being asked questions about the owners - what’s it got to do with him? Well I guess you might as well ask someone, as we're not...

Although it seems Stam and his team won't be sacked until we lose another few yet.

Has anyone thought of Coleman took an impossible job at Sunderland maybe realises his mistake, I have always rated him from his Fulham days.

I hope you're not serious.

Re: The reason we're stuck with Stam

Having seen the posts from the weekend about Stam going, they all seem to be linked to the fact that the warm down got cancelled on Sunday and from there on in it seems to be Chinese whispers. I've thought about this a lot since last year when our form really started to dip and it looked like we ha...

Re: Stam to be sacked?

Interestingly, the BBC are saying that Stam was interviewed for the Leeds job in the summer. Our form collapsed after Clarke went to see Fulham... parallels? Wouldn't surprise me. We aren't a big enough club to keep our manager and will probably always be a stepping stone  Yeah it would be ter...

Re: Stam to be sacked?

Much as I am wanting this to be true I'd be dubious of anything that appears in a pathetic rag like the Daily Mail. Looks like lazy journalism and an easy story to hawk around to fill column inches which has then been regurgitated across the Internet. First reported by a Sun journo if that helps .....

Re: Who could replace Stam?

The problem is that those news stories are not exactly saying he is being sacked ... but he's 'on the brink' ... well surely he's been on the brink for a while. Let's hope it's not just idle speculation, but he really gets the boot. Agree with others that I don't like to see managers being sacked et...

Re: The very latest in STAM OUT threads...with poll

oxf*rd it, I was on the fence before but I'm Stam in, they have decided to stick with him through the transfer window and authorised the signing of two loan players. Today was shit, hell a lot of games have been shit but at the same time I don't think we're going to go down either, we seem to be pi...

Re: Who could replace Stam?

Tom Barclay from The Sun is reporting that warm down training is cancelled today. Stam could be off. To be fair I think that's bullshit - as if the team would stop training because the manager got sacked? Oh ok, let's cancel warm down training and risk some more injuries while we sack the manager ....

Just watched highlights on Sky ... omg how we were not losing first half - our defence looked a mess. I think we should get a manager who knows how to defend ... oh ooops, we've got one of those supposedly.
