Re: Season Tickets 18/19 - Renewal Deadline 5pm on Monday 2nd July 2018.

It really wasn't an obvious error. I wasn't sure. Like I said the card was addressed to me personally and stated "Your season ticket is £99 to say thank you for your loyal support". The issue here is that some were unsure if it was a marketing thing or an error. For anyone that understand...

Re: Season Tickets 18/19 - Renewal Deadline 5pm on Monday 2nd July 2018.

I haven't received that letter but did get the following email in reply to mine: "We apologise but the direct mail that you received from our Reading FC mail house advertising Season Tickets contained the incorrect information. It was not our intention to mislead any of our supporters and we a...

Re: Season Tickets 18/19 - Renewal Deadline 5pm on Monday 2nd July 2018.

No real explanation for what happened but, nevertheless, an unsolicited letter of apology received from the club today. 'It was not our intention to mislead any of our supporters and we are sorry for the error.' Good old Jackie Evans, she has always tried to do the best for supporters. I suspect she...

Re: Season Tickets 18/19 - Renewal Deadline 5pm on Monday 2nd July 2018.

My mate has had one come through saying £59. If this is the case I will be phoning the ticket office for my money back as I've already renewed at £375! It's not the case. It's a mistake by the marketing department I think. Well that's what most are choosing to believe. The only other explanation is...

Only in this country do drivers get treated with this sort of utter contempt by authorities when attending purpose build stadia on the outskirts of towns with "fast" and convenient road routes to and from the place. They do things better abroad klaxon http://www.emoji.co.uk/files/apple-em...

Re: Greyhound parking

No problem - according to Howe bus travel is the way to go, is easy and convenient! He might have some credibility if he was seen to spend a few games using that mode of transport himself. Seems the club are doing the utmost to discourage fans who disagree with that sentiment from attending games. :(

Re: Rumour - Vito Mannone

Non-plussed really. Decent keeper but makes too many mistakes. I wasn't Federici's biggest fan but I'd sooner have him back and he'd cost very little. Fcuk Up Fed, he of the amazing Wembley Whoopsie, over Mannone? I'd sooner lose a limb than have Skippy anywhere near this club again. Is he 3rd or 4...

Re: Liam Moore to Brighton

This whole thread must be a wind up. How is Moore replaceable? He’s pacey, good on the ball, a warrior at the back and gave his all every game. Sure his form dipped this season but every player's did. You try playing in defence alongside the hopeless Gunter, Blackett and (at the time) Ilori and see...

Different collars might be quite a smart marketing trick. Pick the type you prefer or buy a couple because you like different shirts and collars.

Good signing but reportedly another 4 year deal... will we ever learn? The guy is 26, was incredibly close to being a Premier League player last season (Yeah it was Swansea but still....), has shown to be very much of the required standard for this division and bar injuries which he doesn't have a ...

Very similar players tbf, quick, likes to run down blind alleys and no end product. What odds her turning up at Reading Ladies next season? Only if she fancies sitting on the bench. She wouldn't displace the current strikers that Reading Women have! http://www.fawsl.com/latestVideos/291265052/page/...

Sorry guys but I think you’re being ridiculous. He comes across as fairly measured and makes a few interesting points. How did you want him to come across? Like Winston Churchill? Or maybe shouting whilst doing star jumps? He wasn’t doing the half time team talk. He’s the CEO not the fitness instru...

Re: Back from the ****

I go to games now and am BORED, expecting few half-chances, the inevitable cock-up, but the saddest part is that feeling that too many of the eleven on the pitch, really look like they don't give a toss. I agree with your comments. But I still believe players give a toss--it's not just about Readin...

Re: Today

Made it down with nil expectation, managed a good lunch and got back home by 9. Still don't know how we won 4-0. Your defence were non-existent. In fact, at the end, one of your Central Defenders (think it was Gunter) couldn't wait to get off and basically just put his head down and went. The Sears...

Re: Back from the ****

I'm sure this will annoy some folks...but I couldn't care less. I boo'd the players at the final whistle. I have been to around 1,200 RFC games (trust me....that is a lot) and I can take defeat, but what I will not tolerate is a lack of effort. I too walked past some of the players elaborate cars p...

He was the Reading manager when I was my first games in 1967. RIP. Hadn't realised that Roy Bentley had died until I saw his obituary in The i today. I saw my first game in 1967 too. I didn't know who are manager was and, as a youngster, probably wasn't too bothered. However, as I grew older, I bec...

Re: Relegation Watch

The main downside is that we'd let that foaming bunch of faux hipsters @ Craven Cottage in. I'd let Colin have his day just to see that lot spontaneously combust and bottle the playoffs. It's a tough call that one. Don't want to see Colin and the Welsh in the top tier either. Are the Welsh still in...

Re: Relegation Watch

So it could be that Reading get lucky by the complete ineptitude of several other sides in a season that produces one of the lowest sets of points needed to achieve relegation. Leaves you thinking that while Reading have been so unremittingly ****** dreadful all season, look what some supporters mu...
