Re: BFTG - Norwich

First half so flat, dire infact. Just don't understand how you can play like that after being fired up before kick off. Second half I actually thought we were excellent. Intent, and purpose was there. We created a fair few chances. But seriously our finishing is just woeful. What actually went agai...

Re: Clement In/Out...latest poll

Don't get this it's not Clement's fault, he hasn't been able to do enough in the transfer windows etc. etc. In the real world, inside and outside of football, the best managers can turn around the performance of their teams by largely working with those people they already had. In the world of busin...

Re: I think I’m done - just can’t watch this lot anymore

Often don't have a lot of time for Drama Queen Dellor, his histrionics and his vendettas but have to say that his emotive reaction to the way the 'team' conceded that second goal last night, just seconds after grabbing an equaliser, was absolutely spot on! For the first time in over forty years I am...

Re: I think I’m done - just can’t watch this lot anymore

Although you can stand enough of a oxf*rd to post a new thread about it on here and draw attention to yourself. Don't let the door hit your arse on the way out. (Again) Yes Ian, I’m sure you have a very big willy, but come on, the point of the post is about how people view this team. In the c...

Re: Where have the hardcore gone? Culture loss.

Less than 13,000 tonight. Norwich brought around 1300 so gates are steadily dropping. If our home form continues we will drop to 10,000 and below for some games. And that was the figure declared by the club. Could well have been less. Hull on Saturday could be where it drops below 10,000 and deserv...

Re: Clement

Clement got the job due to Gourlay, as a manager he has failed twice already, as a coach he did well This club has been here before, we have only beaten two other clubs since he arrived. It is time for back to basics, get an English manager in, with English backroom staff, and get rid of all the fo...

Re: I think I’m done - just can’t watch this lot anymore

Don’t think Bacuna is paticularly worse than anyone else at the moment. Gunter and Aluko on the other hand are on a different level. There should be a mass (we’ll all 9000) walkout on Saturday if those 2 clowns are in the eleven at 3pm Saturday So we expect the Hull fans to join in the walk out then?

Re: BFTG - Norwich

Didn’t realise Ilori may have been at fault for the second goal. If true he drops to a 5. He absolutely was at fault. From memory he tackled with the wrong foot but in any case should have taken the ball and man if necessary and cleared both into touch. It was half hearted at best. To be fair, Moor...

Re: Tevreden Out, Nani In

Ahh bless. All those poor employess at RFC , whove been given a kick up the ass by their Boss. We've been drifting on & off the field for 5 years. About time someone came in and gave the place a shake. Tevreden going is no loss. Disagree. It wasn't that long ago that the majority of fans, right...

Re: Reading FC Womens World

Nice 4-0 wIn to start the league season... 1 game played and more points, more wins and nearly as many goals as the men's 1st team have managed in 6 games. Perhaps Clement should name the ladies to play v Preston. Or perhaps the owners should ask Kelly and the rest of the women's management and coa...

Re: Clement

It takes a few years to build a good football team and Clement needs the time. Clement would be breaking new ground. He's never been anywhere longer than about 6 months? It took Bielsa at Leeds about 1 month? And they haven't even made the playoffs in more than a decade. Did it always take Warnock ...

Re: BFTG - Weds H

1. Aluko is an absolute disgrace to Reading FC, the bottled tackle is not the first and won’t be the last 2. It’s time to protest against the way the club is being ran Gourlay and Tevreden should have left with Stam 3. Clement isn’t the source of this rut. When is this team going to have some form ...

Re: Who can save us

Colin crossed my mind as well Not that I’d want him in as such - but I do think we need to somewhat do what Cardiff did the season he took over A lot of the players do seem to need a bit of an arse kicking from the management. I look at people like Meyler and Aluko and wonder what motivation they h...

Re: BFTG - Weds H

Currently Meite is a League 2 player at best. Yes, he shows passion, works hard, roughs up defenders etc. but his touch is appalling, his shooting little better and, for a big guy, heading ability average at best. The fact some are pinning their hopes on him and/or rating him as one of our better pl...

Re: BFTG - Weds H

Observations. 1. Be it the style or the players’ psyche, the amount of damage Stam has done to this club is unbelievable. 2. To put Gunter (who has played left back many a time) in the spot the more superior Yiadom has made his own recently, puts a serious question mark for me against Clement. Sure...

Re: BFTG - Weds H

I'm rather bemused by the faith that some are expressing in Clement to get us out of this mess. I fear it is more said in hope than evidence based. What has he done either with us or in former positions to suggest that he really does have the ability to get us out of this mess? BBCRB are already fal...

Re: Some Iranian guy who I can’t be bothered to spell the name of

He's a full international and played well against Spain and Portugal this summer. Doing him a bit of a disservice to say he will take that long imo. Predict he will start against Preston after the international break. Presumably he'll be away with Iran over the break. Unless Clement has come over a...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Watford (h) sponsored by a difficulty to enthuse

Not surprising but once again concerned about the manner of the defeat. Week in week out we are getting further and further away from that winning feeling. The mentality of the club stinks from the top down. I feel for Clement and I don’t think he can be held accountable really, let’s be honest his...

Attempt missed. Liam Kelly (Reading) right footed shot from the centre of the box is high and wide to the right.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Watford (h) sponsored by a difficulty to enthuse

Watford will have more fans than us at today’s game. Our fat CEO is turning us into a laughing stock Don't like him but when have we ever had large crowds for early round league cup games? 14/15 - Newport 6,459 16/17 - Plymouth 6,979 & MK Dons 6,848 17/18 - Gillingham 5,936 & Millwall 7,148...
