Re: Solutions to problems (instead of moaning)

So being able to consistently hit the target when shooting isn't important?

Re: Gourlay

Pointless speculating about all things commercial, FACTS that we do know and from the horse's mouth - lots of sponsorship is lined up for 2019 we can't do anything at the moment as Carabao have restrictions on other things. Which include stadium naming rights, could well explain lack of sponsorship...

Re: BFTG West Brom

A front 2 of Bod and Baldock would have changed that game immeasurably. Sadly I think it's time to put Mannone back in. After the last game I expressed my doubts about Walkers distribution and several people on here had posted about his aerial ability. His experience is showing and Mannone is just ...

Re: Clement

Its becoming a self fulfilling prophecy. We know we're shit second half, the opposition know we're shit second half. So we choke and they push. I highly doubt team talk has anything to do with it. Yeah, you might be able to gee people up to give more sometimes, or give some positive tactical change...

Re: Gourlay

Whether or not people believe that The Fat Controller is responsible for the dire mess that the team is in, it's very clearly evident that things are not right with the commercial side of the club. Look around the stadium and you can see how much advertising space hasn't been taken up. Prime pitch p...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Queens Park Rangers (h) sponsored by Michael Meaker

Within twenty minutes it was obvious that Kelly was having an absolute nightmare. Not only did he look lost but he also looked completely disinterested. He should have been replaced by Swift at that point. Swift has made it clear that he did not have any injury problem and that it was just cramp at...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Queens Park Rangers (h) sponsored by Michael Meaker

I'll leave the fitness diagnosis to the club experts rather than second guess them thanks. Interesting logic. So I guess we should leave the team selection to the club experts as well then, and not express our opinions on them picking Aluko? I've got 20 years experience watching live professional f...

Re: CONFIRMED - Yakou Meite

I like Meite because at least he tries hard and he was a tad unlucky not to score last night. But I have to say I am shocked that he as received such a long contract extension at this stage in his career. I can only think that the club expect him to develop and have been able to sign him on low wag...

Re: Next Reading Manager

It's nonsense to suggest that no other manager would be able to get better performances and results from the squad of players we have. These are not shyte players. Most are talented players who for whatever reason are not performing to the levels they are capable of. It is the manager and coaches jo...

Re: CONFIRMED - Yakou Meite

Make the club plummet like a stone, supporters desert in their masses, club goes bust and they can develop the land that the stadium is currently stood on without any real protests. It does make sense if you think about it. Why would they not sack Stam earlier? Why get Clement when he isn't that go...

Are we being deliberately sabotaged these last 2 seasons by the board and owners for some reason? Did somebody make a bet with them? Re: CONFIRMED - Yakou Meite

What the f*ck are the idiots running/ruining our club playing at? He's big, physical and works hard but he's a league 2 standard footballer at best. Maybe he's a late developer but I doubt it. Wait and watch us desperately trying to offload him before the end of his contract unless, of course, we've...

Re: BFT - I don’t know what to call it

I try to be positive but I have to say that when I heard that Aluko was playing my enthusiasm was dented. And he was truly awful yet again. I try not to knock individual players but it is really hard to see how Aluko can ever start another game for RFC. It was as though we were playing with 10 men ...

Re: My first rumour report. Things not well at Reading.

If (and it’s a big if), the club needed an overhaul from top to bottom, then it’s important that the fans have some patience with the new regime. That said, I can’t get my head around just how much regression has taken place across all areas of the club since the change of CEO was made. I appreciat...

Re: BFTG - Norwich

First half so flat, dire infact. Just don't understand how you can play like that after being fired up before kick off. Second half I actually thought we were excellent. Intent, and purpose was there. We created a fair few chances. But seriously our finishing is just woeful. What actually went agai...

Re: Clement In/Out...latest poll

Don't get this it's not Clement's fault, he hasn't been able to do enough in the transfer windows etc. etc. In the real world, inside and outside of football, the best managers can turn around the performance of their teams by largely working with those people they already had. In the world of busin...

Re: I think I’m done - just can’t watch this lot anymore

Often don't have a lot of time for Drama Queen Dellor, his histrionics and his vendettas but have to say that his emotive reaction to the way the 'team' conceded that second goal last night, just seconds after grabbing an equaliser, was absolutely spot on! For the first time in over forty years I am...

Although you can stand enough of a oxf*rd to post a new thread about it on here and draw attention to yourself. Don't let the door hit your arse on the way out. Re: Where have the hardcore gone? Culture loss.

Less than 13,000 tonight. Norwich brought around 1300 so gates are steadily dropping. If our home form continues we will drop to 10,000 and below for some games. And that was the figure declared by the club. Could well have been less. Hull on Saturday could be where it drops below 10,000 and deserv...

Re: Clement

Clement got the job due to Gourlay, as a manager he has failed twice already, as a coach he did well This club has been here before, we have only beaten two other clubs since he arrived. It is time for back to basics, get an English manager in, with English backroom staff, and get rid of all the fo...
