Re: Idiots in Holiday Inn Car Park

There’s nobody manning that car park anymore. It’s pay by phone or in reception. They waited for the police until midnight but, understandably, wanted to just go home. I think the hotel's security guard still patrols the car park (normally stops for a chat) but you could hardly expect him to interv...

Re: Club up for sale again?

Tim said on BBC Berks that a well placed source within the club told him that the owners looked to sell the club last December. Perhaps his 'well placed source' had been on the sauce. As for loans, we should do a QPR - break the FFP Regulations, thus ensuring that the club are 'punished' by the sha...

Re: CONFIMRED - George Evans to Derby

Evans struggled last season (like most), and was hampered by injuries, but decent during playoff season. Has pedigree and reckon there's a player in there. Change of scenery can help. Lampard knows midfield obviously, and knows Evans from their days together at Citeh. Wouldn't be that surprised if ...

So Clement told him he wants more intensity in the final third but keeps picking aluko and swift, two of the least energetic players off the ball in the league :? . Pre returning knackered at the start of last season and then struggling to get fit and remain injury free, Swift was very energetic of...

If Moore 'weren't all that' then the majority of the rest of the squad must have been utter shyte by comparison and we are in deep trouble.

Re: Next seasons kit choice?

They've been removed from the listings page but the product pages are still available via the URL. Unless they've got some kind of buy-back agreement with Puma they'll need to get rid of them somehow, and the fact that they've not deleted the product pages yet suggests they might be back on sale at...

Re: Negativity - Roll on 2018/19

The club don't need to acknowledge you because you renewed your season ticket. You've made that choice and they have your money which is all it is about. They are just a business. And that is complete contradictory. Any decent business acknowledges and thanks you for your business. Professional foo...

Re: Liam Moore to Brighton

Surprised hes waited until being plastered across social media wearing the new kit as part of the new kit launch..to then decide a few hours later..."I'm off" Maybe he waited to see who we brought in over the Summer before deciding ‘I’m off’. Not saying that was the only factor, but maybe...

Re: Season Tickets 18/19 - Renewal Deadline 5pm on Monday 2nd July 2018.

It really wasn't an obvious error. I wasn't sure. Like I said the card was addressed to me personally and stated "Your season ticket is £99 to say thank you for your loyal support". The issue here is that some were unsure if it was a marketing thing or an error. For anyone that understand...

No real explanation for what happened but, nevertheless, an unsolicited letter of apology received from the club today. 'It was not our intention to mislead any of our supporters and we are sorry for the error.' Good old Jackie Evans, she has always tried to do the best for supporters. I suspect she...

Re: Season Tickets 18/19 - Renewal Deadline 5pm on Monday 2nd July 2018.

My mate has had one come through saying £59. If this is the case I will be phoning the ticket office for my money back as I've already renewed at £375! It's not the case. It's a mistake by the marketing department I think. Well that's what most are choosing to believe. The only other explanation is...

Re: Greyhound parking

No problem - according to Howe bus travel is the way to go, is easy and convenient! He might have some credibility if he was seen to spend a few games using that mode of transport himself. Seems the club are doing the utmost to discourage fans who disagree with that sentiment from attending games. :(

Re: Rumour - Vito Mannone

Non-plussed really. Decent keeper but makes too many mistakes. I wasn't Federici's biggest fan but I'd sooner have him back and he'd cost very little. Fcuk Up Fed, he of the amazing Wembley Whoopsie, over Mannone? I'd sooner lose a limb than have Skippy anywhere near this club again. Is he 3rd or 4...

Re: Liam Moore to Brighton

This whole thread must be a wind up. How is Moore replaceable? He’s pacey, good on the ball, a warrior at the back and gave his all every game. Sure his form dipped this season but every player's did. You try playing in defence alongside the hopeless Gunter, Blackett and (at the time) Ilori and see...

Different collars might be quite a smart marketing trick. Pick the type you prefer or buy a couple because you like different shirts and collars.

Good signing but reportedly another 4 year deal... will we ever learn?
