Re: BFTG - Derby

Enjoyed that immensely. On paper midfield was too light and inexperienced. Though actually did very well. With no JVB. We did seem to play at quicker tempo more often. Pleased that the crowd got behind the team. Team seemed to respond. Rebuilding that relationship is key to survival. Settle for a po...

That's my feeling. The players that don't perform will be gone in the summer. New manager or not. Us fans will still be here.

Rumour has it they expected the taxi to move of it's own accord without a driver. After 90 minutes of waiting they got out and walked.

The fans alternative course of action.

As fans perhaps we simply need to give our vocal support to the team. No ifs no buts. Whatever the performance is like on the pitch.

Swift's injury problems are a concern. Seems to have been overplayed. Taking into account England summer tournament appearances .

The system being played has no connection to the players individually not being the types to battle for a win.

Re: The only course of action now...

You have to question how many of the players actually want to be at the club....... No tenacity, no spirit , no flair. Sacking Stam isn't the answer. Isn’t that Stam’s job to implement those 3 things? Stam isn't on the pitch playing though. Difficult to see any points from the next 3 games. Opposit...

not the players themselves. Watched football for many many years and am struggling to remember so many individual poor decisions that have cost us goals. The opposition simply have to turn up and we'll gift them opportunities. Totally different to being outplayed by better teams. Seems if there's a...

Re: Club announces new manager!

Because despite what a lot of people on here seem to think it's quite clear the owners do have a long term plan for the the playing side. Fingers crossed that the Chinese are genuinely interested in the longer term future of the club. Not simply splurging their money away in the hope of promotion. ...

Also worth noting Rinomhota is only just coming back from injury, Andresson is currently injured, Richards is coming back from injury and Watson has been out for a year and is only slowly coming back. They certainly aren't an immediate go-to option right now. Barrett is gain good experience with Co...

Days of owners taking notice are well gone. Football is a business driven by money at the higher league levels. From the top down within the club. Refreshing to see the rise of community owned clubs. Football afterall is meant to be entertainment. A diversion from everyday life. Great to see Notts C...

Recruitment hasn't been the greatest. Too much style over substance. Technical ability over grit and work ethic.
