BFTG Birmingham

Enjoyed the game with lots of positives to take from the performance. Seems to be a unity in the squad coupled with leadership. Opposition very poor. Job done, a major confidence boost.

Roll on round 2.

Re: Summer Transfers

To an extent this whole transfer window seems a little pointless when you can still do loans. Anyone, such as what seems likely with MM, can just go on loan with a clause to sign permanently in January Might well happen. Once premiership clubs lighten their squads. Causing a ripple effect. For an a...

£7m wasted on Aluko. Better to have a long term plan. Than think that money is automatically going to buy success. Changing managers frequently isn't the solution either.

This squad isn't good enough. Going to take time to improve it. Safely in mid table would an improvement.

One shot on target equals the total achieved in the last 4 away games of last season. Might set a new record today.

We've 3 centre backs on the pitch.

Don't get me started on Moore. Here we are, paying his salary, and he continues to miss games...even tho he was (allegedly) never going to leave in the first place.

Safe to assume he wasn't involved in the match build up. Now needs to win his shirt back.

Early days yet. Good to see a line-up with attacking intent. Can Kelly deliver the passes though. Was a poor part of his game last season.

Re: Nottingham Forest (A)

Only 500 sold as of this morning  That’s shocking - hoping more turn up but our away support is becoming a bit of a joke. Granted we’ve had a few bad seasons Second half of last season was truly awlfull. Don't care what the result is. As long as the performance is put in. Jury's out currently.

Appears that BHA haven't been splashing much cash.

Yeah just the £45 million odd.

£4m for a Premiership quality defender. Nah. BHA obviously didn't rate Moore highly enough to bid higher.

Nothing at all. As it's not personal. Perhaps Moore was badly advised by his agent.

We don't know how the deal was structured though. Might not have been full cash amount upfront. Rumour has it that Dan Burn was signed for £4m. Appears that BHA haven't been splashing much cash.

Re: Summer Transfers

Went to watch Swindon play Chelsea U21's in the EFL Trophy last night. (Chelsea won 4-0). Would be happy to have a fair few number of them on loan. Passing was quick and incisive. All of them appeared to possess pace. Apparently were about 25-30 scouts/managers in attendance as well. Playing style ...
