We are so far short of being a decent side. Had we been promoted we may have beaten Derby's record haul of 11 points.........

Straight red too. That's a central defender that's out for the 3 remaining games.

At least we'll have a fully fit Bacuna available for the game.

Re: BFTG Sunderland

Clement 6 not a midfield combination to try again, please. Crying out for a defensive midfielder from about 10 mins in. Not as if he has any options to choose from. Without Bacuna there's a big hole. No sign of Evans today either. Sometimes I wonder if Blackett would make a defensive midfielder. Sw...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Sunderland (h) sponsored by more than 1 shot on target please boys

Starting to fear that Reading might bog this one up in their usual inimitable style as it does seem to have that certain air of expectation about it and, of course, Reading rarely seem to make things easy for themselves. No expectation. The crowd needs to play it's part. This a must win game for bo...

Clement wouldn't even have him on the bench if that was the case.

If he scores the goal that seals our stay in the Championship. I won't care what else he has or hasn't done. He'll have repaid every penny of his wages.

Re: Relegation Watch

Sunderland may well have injury problems for Saturday's fixture. With 2 defenders taken off last night. Although the loss of Bacuna is immense. Seems as if the Gods are at least trying to give us every chance.

Being as Barnsley play Birmingham 8 points would guarantee safety wouldn’t it?

But realistically 4 or 5 would almost certainly do it

Re: MATCHWATCH : Fulham (a) sponsored by nothing to lose

More than happy to gift the points to Fulham if it pushes Cardiff into the play offs. As will make the last game of the season a non event for Cardiff. Even Warnock won't wish to take any chances with his players. Also will deflate the atmosphere. Wouldn't want to need points from that game if it's...

Re: BFTG - Preston -Home

Clement did well, though I was shocked at his lack of fitness in the last 5 or 10 mins, how on earth is he running out of steam after 35 minutes action. To be fair he was putting a serious shift in. Chased every ball upfield, made every run off Bod and tracked Pearson back every time he went forwar...

Re: BFTG - Preston -Home

The only error was bringing on Martin instead of Yann. More likely that Martin wouldn't get sent off. Yann isn't the most mobile of strikers either. Martin is a better creative player. Saw him play when he was at Swindon on loan under Di Canio's reign. Is a good finisher when the chances ar...

Re: BFTG - Preston -Home

Kelly has his moments as do Swift and Clement but they are all very inconsistent. When you consider that they are only 22, 22 and 21 respectively. All 3 can only get better the more games they play. Likwise George Evans who still is only 23. Ideally in the summer we'll recruit an experienced head i...
