Re: Rival Watch

Denver Royal Ajayi with another 2 goals tonight. He also did us twice, for the late equalizer at our place, and at their's.
Showing what tall CB's can do for you in Champ. And we gave the big money to Liam Moore :(

Cooper has chipped in with 5 league goals for Millwall this season.

Re: The Academy/Development squads watch thread 2015//16

Southampton 3rd team through, 2-1 winners tonight. Bayern are the final team through after winning on penalties after drawing 1-1 at Leicester after extra time. So Bayern, Zagreb,Southampton and Reading contest the semi`s- i would expect with all matches over here- Royals and Southampton will be ho...

Re: Nine Very Difficult Games - Predictions?

Preston at home may decide our season. PNE have won 6 away on the bounce. An awkward side at the best of times. Lose that game and we may be chasing the pack.

April's results will depend on whether we've got enough fit players to field a strong team and have something on the bench as well.

Re: BFTG Leeds Home

Snowflake Royal Swift can oxf*rd off. Biggest waste of space since Royston. Total passenger.

Play Yiadom at no 10. Has the biggest number of assists this season.

strap
Lower West If Birmingham do receive the rumoured 12-15 point deduction. Could bring them right into the mix.

Sorry LW I am clearly out of the loop - what rumour?

Infringed FFP rules. Exceeded allowable 3 year losses by around £7m. Rather than just a fine this will be first points deduction imposed.

Re: BFTG Leeds Home

With the squad already threadbare. Who is your suggestion to replace him? I'm not a fan of playing players out of position but I'd generally rather see a "false 9" or something, even Meite up front and Harriott and McCleary on the wings would suffice, Loader is clearly feeling the pressur...

URZZZZ
But as for this season, he shouldn't play another second until if/when we are definitely in the division next season

Re: BFTG Leeds Home

Again I'd question Gomes tactics tonight. Why set-out your team to be so open against one of the top teams. Made it so easy for Leeds. Barrow has to go in the summer. All round doesn't contribute enough. Looks like we are going to spend the last few weeks of the season hoping other results go away. ...

Re: The Academy/Development squads watch thread 2015//16

Quite making to see Olise on the bench today. Partly shows how stretched we are but he also looks a very good player. Seen him play a bit and he reminds me in the way he plays a bit like Leroy Sane- all left foot as well. Look on the positive side. Great experience. Hopefully go away and work even ...

Re: Bftg- Wigan (h)

To me it appears he is a player who needs a run of games. He was pretty anonymous to start with but over the past few games he has got better and better. He is the type of player who just gets on with his game and you don’t necessarily notice anything he is doing. He just does it tidily and effecti...

Re: Rival Watch

Does he fcuk. He’s slow and ill disciplined. On the ball he overplays and off the ball he lets the game go past him. That’s not contradictory with saying he works hard though Yes it is. He fails to work hard on the dirty stuff. He’s a passenger in midfield. We've been crying out for such a player l...

Re: Bftg- Wigan (h)

Obviously most of this lot have had previous loan spells but Imthink they are still at the stage where they expect to have a big future at a higher level and they are genuinely playing to build their career. Still requires someone to motivate them and buy into the "project". Yesterday I s...

Re: Bftg- Wigan (h)

Not sure if its been mentioned but there seemed a lot of police presence after the game. And they looked pretty serious. Did something happen? One minibus was given a sizable escort down to the M4. A couple of traffic cars pulled out from the police base as well when the convoy approached. Obviousl...

Re: Gomez tactics may still take us down

Neither goals yesterday were the result of Gomes tactics. We've an inexperienced unsettled team that is being formed in front of our eyes. Just have to accept what we see and focus on the longer term.

Re: Gomes after 10 League Games

Lets not be counting our chickens just yet but for me, the biggest improvement is that I see players really wanting to play for the manager and the manager investing emotionally in the club and giving everyone a lift. It's just very good man management and something we've not really seen since Bria...

Re: Gomes after 10 League Games

Against the 5 clubs beneath us in the table. In 10 fixtures this year we've only kept one clean sheet. That was 0-0 away at Wigan. Whatever comparisons one wishes to make between Clement and Gomes. The only conclusion one can draw is that the squad is the problem. Not either of the respective manage...
