I don't think even RFC would be stupid enough to write a performance disincentive into a player's contract.

Re: Club 1871 - the What, When, Where, How, Who & Why Thread

It would have been like last season when I drove to a home game on a Saturday, only to park up and walk through Whitley and go to the area near the ground and realised I was walking alone and that no one else was making their way there. Looked up the fixtures and the game had been moved to Monday. ...

Re: Card/cash only

Just for clarity, I'm not calling for a cashless stadium.

Just put a payment machine next to ALL the tills ffs.

On a related note, why is there still a forty yard queue for the cash machine next to the megastore when you don't need cash in the stadium?

I can forgive that spelling and grammar from a professional footballer but if that's the PR department I'd want heads to roll.

Re: Liam Moore to Brighton

His agent no doubt told him if he handed in a request, Brighton would think they could probably get the upper hand in negotiations. Unsettled player+headache for current club= stronger position for Brighton? That's my thinking anyway. On that front, the agent presumably cuts a tidy fee when he nego...

Re: Liam Moore to Brighton

The guy that runs the Sainsburys local at the end of my road put in for an assistant manager job at Savacentre. He didn't get it.

There's no way I'm shopping in there again 'til he's gone. The dirty rat.

Card/cash only

The football was better so here's my moan...

Card only tills. FFS! Debit cards aren't exactly new. Contactless is the way forward. Haven't you heard? Everyone's doing it.

Buy some more card machines and train the staff.

and while I'm at it. Rollover hotdogs. Bleurgh.

Re: Relegation

Bolton, Rotherham and Reading seem to be many people’s favourites for the drop this season and to be honest that would appear to be the most logical set of 3. But as we know football is a funny old game and there will be one or two serious under performers in the division which at least is a bracke...

Re: Season Tickets 18/19 - Renewal Deadline 5pm on Monday 2nd July 2018.

Heard a rumour over the weekend (a friend of a friend etc) that Trading Standards have had enough complaints about RFC's "price freeze" and lack of last season's early bird discount that they've opened an investigation...
