Re: South Stand Singers For Sunderland (H)

Not that I'd ever suggest this personally but it could be suggested by others that a lot of the people in the group only took part to get special attention like this. They wanted to be made to feel special and look like real fans in front of the players. Others could suggest this group are complete...

Re: Relegation Watch

3 points means we need to win a game, or draw all three https://media.giphy.com/media/DHqth0hVQoIzS/source.gif My point is, that really means we have to WIN ONE GAME as I can't see us going unbeaten for the last three games and winning games is something we are very poor at We don't need to win any...

Re: European Leagues Thread 2012/2013

Frankfurt make it through to the cup final, to lose to Bayern. Will be interesting in that the Frankfurt manager takes over at Bayern this summer, so this will be his last game. Was a terribly timed announcment, Eintracht had a chance of making the CL but following the announcement got stuffed at Le...

Re: The Non - League thread

Why do the conference play offs have 6 teams in? Assume it will be something like 4th vs 7th and 5th vs 6th then 3rd and 2nd v winners? But it just seems weird why they dont just do 2 automatic and then a 4 team play off?.... Is it something to do with the grounds and teams not being allowed in pla...

Re: European Leagues Thread 2012/2013

First Coupe de France Semi final last night saw 2 3rd division teams in it. Les Herbiers winning 2-0 against Chambly for the right to get stuffed by PSG in the final (assuming they beat Caen).

Re: Relegation Watch

I can see Saints and West Brom doing ok, Stoke I'm not so sure about. All depends a lot on who leaves each club in the summer. Plus there's lots of other twists and turns. Wigan and Blackburn will probably be solid midtable outfits (if not high up in the league). I think we need to sign 2 midfielde...

Re: ArsenaLOL

I read today that Arsenal have the worst away record in 2018 of any side in the top 5 divisions of English football. They’ve won zero games away from home this year! That’s quite impressive. They've only picked up 13 points on the road all season - has them 12th in an away form table. Is only the f...

Since winning v Man Utd in the League Cup, their league form has been shocking.

Typically still managed a comfortable home win against us though.

Well it looks like Tevreden will have less to do with transfers now, being made responsible for building out the relationship with KSV Roselare. Gourlay will be responsible for our transfer business - you can argue if this is a good or bad thing.

Just seen Bristol City have dropped to 11th   Really tight for those last 2 play-off places, just 4 points between 5th and 11th - so a good late run by anyone in that batch will see them make it you would think. Bristol City's form is awful at the mo, the win against Brum being the only...

Christ almighty what planet are you on ? It’s not likely but it’s still possible. Whilst it’s possible don’t be dismissive. We are 40/1 to go down with the bookies - they are not stupid. If we were talking about one team needing to win 2 out of 3 to catch us then fine to panic mildly - but not 3 te...

The dream for me is Colin getting the automatic spot, then Villa and Fulham both losing the playoffs to Millwall Imagine the salt. Would make this season 100% worth it Wouldn’t be upset to see Derby or Boro go up, despite both being pretty awful this year. Not quite sure how Derby are in the mix tb...

Frankly I fear we are stuck with BT due to the impact of Rooney's Rule, (or whatever it's called these days). Sorry strap, but that comes across as borderline racist there. Plus there is no Rooney rule in English football. Oh please! Best man/woman (happy?) for the job, NOT quotas based on race, re...

from JLow: Blackett is 50/50 for the weekend. The others - McShane and Elphick are out. Mendes and Harriott also out. Realistically, bar Blackett, can't see us seeing any of that lot again this season. Thought Elphick would be back by now, and with so little time left in the season and Ilori and Mo...
