Re: European Leagues Thread 2012/2013

German season kicked off with the 1st round of the cup this weekend.

Biggest shock - non-league SSV Ulm 1846 do a Sutton United and knock out cup holders Eintracht Frankfurt 2-1.

3rd Division Hansa Rostock also progress beating Stuttgart.

Re: Clement OUT!!!!

The players need a rocket not mollycoddling. Different players probably need different ways of being treated tbh.... I'm sure they do but the underperformance of the team has been consistant for over a season now, so much so, it has become just the expected level of performance. I think a lot of us...

Re: The Non - League thread

Saw Maidenhead and Hungerford both lost again this weekend, I fear for them both :| Inertia taking hold and dragging them down to a more natural level I think. Maidenhead have done an incredible job to get the National League but as they, rightly, haven't gone full time, it was only ever going to b...

Spurs stadium woes get LOLZier Game v Man City is scheduled for 28th October and has been picked for Sky coverage. New stadium is not likely to be available. Wembley is hosting the NFL that weekend and Twickenham have said no as they will be prepping the stadium for the Autumn Internationals which s...

Re: Liam Moore Hypocrite or Hero?

The Chronicle guys on Twitter teasing a "very interesting development" about Liam Moore being in the paper on Thursday.

Would imagine if it is anything of any real note, it will appear somewhere else before then.

Hate sites like that, I'm not clicking next page to read your pointless article (not you Kent, unless it's your site).

Re: Royals on the Box/Internet Thread

Issues were definitely iFollow wide on Saturday - certainly going by the grumblings on Twitter. Whilst it was annoying, and hopefully a one off. I was really impressed with the updated service. The video stream had BBC Berks commentary over it as standard and in sync whilst the score/match time are ...

Re: Summer Transfers

Reading are apparently looking to complete 2 loan deals before the window closes. One is reportedly expected to be a winger. May well be Maddison who was not in Posh’s squad today. Can imagine trying to sort a loan deal with McAnthony and Fry would be like pulling teeth one by one with no anaesthet...

Re: Martin Ødegaard

Did well at Heerenveen last year. My concern is he would bring some baggage and Madrid are apparently demanding he would have to play if available. Fine if he performs but if he isn't and blocks the path for others, could be terrible for morale.

Re: The Academy/Development squads watch thread 2015//16

Noticed the other day that the u21s aren't in the Checkatrade Trophy this season. I wonder if that is the club's decision or are we deemed not to have a strong enough academy now? Ie the stronger teams maybe now want to play? Also, very unusual to find the U23s playing on a Saturday at the Mad Stad...

Changed my mind from an earlier prediction in the other thread:

Forest 0-0 Reading HT
Forest 1-1 Reading FT

Reading to Score First

Swift 49
Forest 72

Re: European Leagues Thread 2012/2013

Random fact from 2.Bundesliga Erzgebirge Aue's kit man is 30 today. Nothing unusual in that but German football has a rule about a club having to have 4 players registered in the first team squad who came through the clubs academy. As he was briefly in the academy as a child, the club have also reg...

Re: Liam Moore to Brighton

Allegedly, Brighton are/have offered Oliver Norwood to us as a makeweight in the deal. They really don't want to spend the money we want do they? I liked Norwood but really not sure his coming back would be the right move for us. Complete and utter bollocks. Norwood was a terrible player for us any...

Watching SSN just now and they were going through Brightons transfer deals in and out over the summer and they were showing £5m fee for Baldock!!...surely not?? ...if so then we should definitely hold out for the full £15m for Moore Think it has been discussed on here already. Fee is 2.5m upfront. ...

Hopefully we'll get the same credit if we lose at the weekend. Expect it will be more doom and gloom though.
