Re: Greyhound parking

Only in this country do drivers get treated with this sort of utter contempt by authorities when attending purpose build stadia on the outskirts of towns with "fast" and convenient road routes to and from the place. They do things better abroad klaxon http://www.emoji.co.uk/files/apple-em...

Re: World Cup 2018

Interesting* point on VAR made on the 5 live commentary just now. Everytime the ref is called over to the TV to check for a pen, he has given it. Would take a brave ref to view the footage and disagree I guess. May well save time just to give the pen when VAR give the nod. Fair point to make I gues...

Re: World Cup 2018

Yeah VAR seemed to work ok for the Iran goal Though I have no idea what the point of a linesman is nowadays. Don't even bother flagging champ, VAR will decide.... Ultimately, it was the right decision. It’s just incredibly painful to watch players practically crying in celebration and then it all b...

Apparently Steve Holland has inadvertently revealed that Rashford may be starting ahead of Sterling, against Panama. https://i.guim.co.uk/img/media/e932444a31b235bca94a8a2e6b53808cd663dfc3/0_0_352_396/master/352.jpg?w=140&q=55&auto=format&usm=12&fit=max&s=994866ad56e5688971b50ef...

New TV deal isn't it or streaming deal? Every game will be broadcast live in midweek, so splitting the games over two nights.

Re: World Cup 2018

Iran’s disallowed goal was absolutely painful to watch. If that had been a team I cared about my foot would have been well through the other side of the screen before the ref had taken the minute and a half to rule it out via VAR. No problem with anyone beating up on VAR but on this one the linesma...

I'm not itk. Just have friends who like to pretend they are life long itk Chelski supporters (we all know at least 1) Probably talking oxf*rd but both sides apparently trying to complete a season long deal to us, with option to buy. Seems like it's shit or bust for him this year. Didn't he sign a t...

Really surprised he hasn't at least been kept on for pre-season. Can only hope that there is another striker coming in else we still look more than a little bare up top.

Re: England’s World Cup Finals 2018

Yeah, that's my point. VAR is meant to stop the officials from missing stuff so teams aren't hard done by, it's still happening except now we've got annoying breaks in play to go with it. Have we had an "annoying break" yet where a decision has not been correct after it? Not seen every ga...

Re: England’s World Cup Finals 2018

The problem with VAR at this World Cup has been it not being used when it should have been, not in the use of it when it has. The problem with VAR (which overall has been used well in this WC) is that it all it does is move the potential for error from the ref on the pitch to the ref in Moscow. Nob...

Re: Ingerlund Vs Tunisia

So overall, the right result and great for England to be up and running after game 1. With Panama next, England should be into the knockout stages with a game to spare. Then a case of if they finish first or second. Following the Germany result, if they go on to finish 2nd then there could be an arg...

Get carried away in every good place you find yourself in. Let your mind soar and your heart race. England will win this World Cup. And until they don’t in 10 days time I’m gonna enjoy it. I love supporting England. Right up until they kick a ball. And fair play to those lads losing their minds in ...

Re: World Cup 2026

So with three-team groups, and two teams out of each group going through, FIFA are going to need to do something to stop a Germany v Austria situation arising. The current four-team groups mean they can just have the final games for all group members kicking off at the same time, but this is obviou...
