Which of Chelsea’s English “youngsters” does that block?

Loftus-Cheek to basically just about any other club in the PL (or even abroad) has to be a shoe-in now you would think.

Re: George Evans

Rather have got shot of Aluko and Edwards before Evans. Suffered last year with the combination of injury blight and cr*p from. So just like nearly every other member of the squad then. That said it has to be seen a a good move for him as he needs to play regularly and for Reading as thanks to Stam...

Re: Royals on the Box/Internet Thread

I've just been into iFollow to see what my options are for next season. Last season I paid for the full package, but didn't really use the 'watch live HD' option for a few reasons: 1. The evening games are too late for me (00:45 BST or 01:45 GMT) 2. Reading were crap... Certainly didn't want to was...

Re: George Evans

Odd that he flew out to Austria earlier today if a deal to sell him had been agreed. Sunderland messageboard suggests they are paying £450, 000 for him which is good business from our point of view. Of which, we will only see 270k given the 40% sell on Man City have on him. Better than nothing as c...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Croatia (n) sponsored by two big badges

Best team won but hard not to be positive about the direction of the national team. That XI is fairly young and has bought in to what Southgate is trying to do, add to that that we are World Champions at both U17 and U20 level - and some of these players are realising that they don't need to hang a...

they will probably make the transfer fee back in merchandise within the year You think they'll sell two million replicas in a year? Ok then. Yep, Nations League suddenly seems interesting.

First game against Spain under new management followed by Croatia again later in the year.

The most depressing thing about this is the fact that we nearly have to focus on Reading again.

May God have mercy on us all.

Re: Thanks Yann and goodbye.

Thanks Yann but a good decision for everyone I think.

Can only assume with this announcement and Smith looking likely to join Oxford on loan any day that we must be close to another striker coming in. Bod, McNulty and Loader isn't enough options to play up top.

Bolton are pretty screwed aren't they. Going to be very hard for them to recruit any decent players following the strike - will likely end up with a few freebies who have no other options.

And the ********* about in non-league at Steps 3 & 4 continues. Out of nowhere Shaw Lane have resigned from the Evostik Northern League due to a failure to find investment. So rather than just deciding to play that league with one team less and deal with the gap next year the leagues have decid...

Sterling was excellent yesterday but unfortunately the view of him will be clouded by his finishing.

Alli was pretty anonymous but popped up with the vital 2nd. Will take that.

Have to say I’m hoping Mexico will get something against Sweden. And that is the game that should be shown live on the telly visual box rather than Germany’s likely comfortable win against an indifferent Korea. Although, IMO, they should switch between the two depending on how things develop. That ...

Interesting* point on VAR made on the 5 live commentary just now. Everytime the ref is called over to the TV to check for a pen, he has given it. Would take a brave ref to view the footage and disagree I guess. May well save time just to give the pen when VAR give the nod. Fair point to make I gues...

Yeah VAR seemed to work ok for the Iran goal Though I have no idea what the point of a linesman is nowadays. Don't even bother flagging champ, VAR will decide.... Ultimately, it was the right decision. It’s just incredibly painful to watch players practically crying in celebration and then it all b...
