Re: RUMOUR - Jordan Hugill

Preston announce that they will sign Louis Moult from Motherwell on 1st Jan - probable replacement for Hugill?

Let those rumours start again....

Re: CheLOLsea

Chelsea fans apparently chanted "Champions of England, you'll never sing that" at Huddersfield last night. A little education in the history of English football needed the last time huddersfield won the league was 1925–26, so anyone who was alive then would be a minimum of 91 years old - ...

Sylla is a possibility given that we were apparently interested in the summer.

Re: RUMOUR - Declan John

Makes sense - Obita out all season and no guarantee he'll come back the same player. Gunter playing out of position and Blackett out of favour essentially leaves us with Richards as our only LB. Good competition for places if John comes in.

Re: BFTG - Cardiff

it's not beyond the realms of possibility that we can make the playoffs. OMG no, not them again, please, have we not suffered enough. Finish tenth and win the FA Cup. Chelsea in the final. its not totally out of the question, but realistically we blew it with the shit results against the likes of N...

Re: BFTG - Cardiff

I'm guessing whoever gave Bacuna mom prob hasn't seen a lot of him. He still had good moments, but it wasn't one of his better displays for us. Agreed - he has a slightly worrying tendancy to switch off momentarily in games or get frustrated momentarily during otherwise decent performances. Agreed ...

Barnsley away game on the 30th December is the live game for international audiences so will be plenty of streams around for that one.

Re: BFTG - Cardiff

Should add some of Kelly's passing last night was majestic. Two that come immediately to mind, one in the first half where he threaded the ball through to Aluko, who couldn't quite bring it under control and in the 2nd half the pass to a maruding Bacuna was perfection - better first touch from him a...

Re: BFTG - Cardiff

Disappointing end to the game but overall a decent performance. The first 10 mins of that 2nd half could have, and possibly should have seen us 5-2 up on chances created. We more than matched the 2nd best team in the division on current form and based on that, and recent form, we should be looking t...

Re: The Manager Sack Race/Merry-go-Round

Yep, Wednesday fans are probably chirping-off the same as we were a few weeks ago......Nigel missed a trick there, good start for him at Hull today. Always thought that he was “hard done by” by the HNA massive running their mouths....and the clubs actual situation at that time of his tenure. There'...

Re: Rival Watch

Realistically if we win on Monday, relegation is off the cards Was looking out more for the results of the likes of Derby and Boro, which didn’t go quite so well Anyway irrelevant unless we go on a bit of a run ourselves Win tonight and we will find ourselves just 4 points off 7th, a gap that we wo...

Thanks to Everton getting a point in August, else our 13 wins from the start of the season record would be dust.

Re: World Cup 2018

Either Spain or Portugal in the 1st KO game if we get through I believe. Group G is tied with Group H due to the scheduling so will be one of: Poland Senegal Colombia Japan If, and a big if, England got through that they would most likely face a QF against either Brazil or Germany (assuming they wi...

Panama If we don't get out of that group... Yep England V Tunisia England V Panama Belgium V England Have to think we can finish at least 2nd there Also noting that Group H is Poland, Senegal, Columbia, Japan - if England are average they have a decent chance of making the QFs with that draw,...
