I read it as early doors in the season because Colin’s being doing that since he managed in the bottom leagues.

That was Denver

I was suggesting he always does this, as you say

Re: CONFIMRED - Tommy Elphick

with McShane as well, he is obviously less comfortable on the ball than Ilori or Moore. It was probably more of an effort to play the possession game mentally. Really he should just concentrate on being a bit of a thug and organising the back line Yeh a couple of really tall thugs in the centre of ...

Rashford could be the new Welbeck-starts off brightly but ends up somewhere obscure...like Arsenal. Lingard only seems to touch the ball a half dozen times in games. Aye, it is just tiresome and boring now. I'll still waiting for them to give up on that claim joke, but no... they just keep persisting... TBF when he claimed that goal it was pretty embarrassing, he deserves any pelters he receives No issue with him being captain mind, it's not like you need to be...

Re: The Non - League thread

Brackley Town v Bromley - what a terrific game. One of the best non league games I've seen for a good while. I have been following Brackley as often as I can this season and sometimes instead of taking up my season ticket seat at the Madstad. (Something which I've yet to regret) They were really un...

Re: Building for next season

Lol. Azpilicueta and Monreal have one important quality that Gunter doesn't. They can defend. He can't do it. There were numerous times this season he showed his inability to pick up a man in the box. He can barely defend against one man on a wing. And yet he’s often making last ditch saving challe...

Re: England - the future....

Hmm... out of that lot, I'd probably go Pickford Walker Maguire* Cahill* Rose Dier Henderson Rashford Alli Sterling Kane I guess. *Struggled with CB tbh. Think we are really short of quality there. Defence is definitely the weakest area but I don't think there's anyone else he could have added to i...

Apparently there was a whole load of crowd trouble at the battle of the Casuals game yesterday and the police were called in  ... I think if Hartley W win tomorrow PM then Corinthian Casuals are promoted as 'lucky losers' with the 3rd best PPG - 2nd best Haringay Boro won the Isthmian One No...

As decisions go, buying Aluko must be right up there with the most calamitous RFC decisions of all time.

Re: Reading fc season predictor league

There's been very little enjoyment on offer this season so this thread, together with sausage rolls in the East Stand and a pint of Good Old Boy, has been the only highlight for me.
It's been a godsend. Good job Snowball.
