Re: BFTG - Norwich

The recurring thread for me throughout the match was how stupendously weak we were, all over the pitch, continually bouncing off the Norwich players, and routinely losing 50:50s. It was only in the period where we passed the ball with some pace and so avoided having to compete physically that we lo...

Re: BFTG - Norwich

Yes and then the ball was played in. To Moore, whose "clearance" was straight to a Norwich player about 3M away. Who then has enough time in the box to set himself up to score. Also how were Norwich able to just walk through our midfield from kick off? If we're going to do blame, let's ge...

Re: BFTG - Norwich

Didn’t realise Ilori may have been at fault for the second goal. If true he drops to a 5. He absolutely was at fault. From memory he tackled with the wrong foot but in any case should have taken the ball and man if necessary and cleared both into touch. It was half hearted at best. Yes and then the...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Norwich City (h) sponsored by Andy Hughes

Someone else has mentioned it already but I thought it was quite telling how when there was an injury stoppage, I think in the second half, the Norwich players gathered together and geed each other up while ours stood miles apart, hands on hips, motionless. Something is wrong when that is happening...

Not even in the 1895-1920 pre-league days. Not even in the numerous relegation seasons. In a nutshell, not ever.

Please not tonight.

Re: CONFIMRED - George Evans to Derby

Evans struggled last season (like most), and was hampered by injuries, but decent during playoff season. Has pedigree and reckon there's a player in there. Change of scenery can help. Lampard knows midfield obviously, and knows Evans from their days together at Citeh. Wouldn't be that surprised if ...

Re: The Positive Thread - Only Positivity Allowed

It’s the keyboard warriors who don’t have the means or desire to go to games in person that are largely going to be dragging threads down with negativity. I think you’ll find the negativity is caused by watching Reading regularly. Avoiding that is a sure fire way to enjoy your weekend. Unfortunatel...
