Re: Confimred new owners of Reading Football Club

Could the Thai's be in co-hoots with the Chinese and plan on forming the Thames Valley Royals and selling both stadiums to groundshare with Didcot Town? With Anton and Samuelson behind the whole thing!! It all makes sense now! And they would probably have got way with it too if it wasn't for you pe...

Re: Opposition fans back from the game

Their fans normal response to a defeat is to suggest spunking a few more million of someone's money in the next transfer window. Not really worked in the last five years though has it.

Re: Millwall (a)

The original Den was a much more inhospitable, intimidating and edgy place to go and watch football. The ground, the approach and streets around it, the pubs, everything, not helped by the fearsome reputation of the locals. It was a rough arse place. Bunny makes a good point that if Millwall had to ...

Re: Millwall (a)i

Ridiculous post. This is one of the best away days in the league - great traditional 4 sided stadium too. Yeah it's so good it comes 75/92 in 4-4-2 magazine's worst match day experience  where 92 is the worst (Coventry City btw). Having said that the stadium gets quite a good write up - "...

Re: Jaap's Radio Comments

Five + years of disconnect with faceless and anonymous foreign owners doesn't help the soul of a club either but that's 21 century football for you, unless you are lucky to still have someone with deep pockets and a genuine passion for your club involved, but they are nearly an extinct breed.

Re: Oxford - Reading

That 1989 game was all a bit of a pissed up blur after getting wasted at that pub by North Camp station beforehand. I think that was the same day that "Ratty" booted some Aldershot bloke off a scooter as he rode past giving it the biggun.

Re: Stop explicit language in the ground...

I'm scared of where all this is going to end. Salad and healthy options to replace pies and burgers, or perhaps replaced by an m and s food shop, no alchoholic drinks for sale in the concourse. Can we hand back the keys and start football again somewhere else? id just like to say, if th eclub are r...

theres a family section in the north and a quiet section for chin stroking in the west stand. anyone who sits near y25 and then complains about the swearing is a oxf*rd oxf*rd I don't know. There's a young chubby ginger-haired lad towards the top of Y25 who says a certain four letter word beginning...

Re: Reading FC 1985/86

My favourite memory of the season was the Newport County away game. As a 16 year old and being one of my earliest away games I remember all the cars with blue and white scarves flying out their windows going down the M4 and standing on that curved partly covered terrace behind the goal at Somerton P...

What we need is some old authentic Reading street food, like the old converted ambulance kebab vans from the Oxford Road and Caversham from days of yore. Good old traditional Berkshire home cooking at its finest.

Re: BFTG - Fulham

Some quite sweet comments on the Fulham fans forum. One fan loved the Fulham fans wit and originality singing about seeing us cry on the tv (in the final, not the semi final), your grounds too big for you (if only we were like Fulham packing out their 30,000 stadium every week), and Huddersfield (ye...

Re: Rumour - Liam Moore > Burnley

Burnley is an absolute hole though reckon a lot depends on if Stam stays. To be fair if he goes, can see Moore moving on again Burnley is only a hole if you are dolescum social underclass spunking your benefits on dodgy baccy, blue wkd, spray tans and lottery scratch cards. If you are earning thirt...
