Re: BFTG Brentford

I reckon that we are now known as Golden F.C. Stam trots out the same ol' lines. Gourlay says,..well, less said the better. As for Tevreden and the owners...silence is golden. Hence, Golden F.C.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Brentford (h) sponsored by still no Saturday home win this season

Never in all my time of supporting the club, more than a few years now, have I felt this disillusioned. Always leaving the game before the final whistle. Something's got to change. Shirley :?

Re: Team for Brentford

IN for this one. Let's hope the lads turn up, regardless of whichever side the Dutch man picks. At least the atmosphere should be good with a full end to respond to. And let's hope it doesn't turn into yet another social occasion, in the concourse, which has generally been the case this season 8)

Re: Gourlay out.

Part of the latest quote from Gourlay on the getreading site reads: "It's been quite a difficult time for the club in the past few years and while we got very close last year [to the Premier League] that increased a lot of expectations which up till now we have probably not fulfilled. But I hav...

Re: In or Out? New poll.

This whole situation is starting to wind me right up now. I feel like giving Stam, Gourlay, Tevreden and anybody else who needs it a bloody good shake. The laid back approach to everything is mind numbing. This is our football club we're talking about here. There are people joking about us dropping ...

And let's hope it doesn't lash down with rain during the morning, resulting in one of their own coming in the pub at 1 o'clock to announce that the game's been called off  Remember it well.

Just looking forward to seeing that bald geezer turn up in their ranks, take his shirt off and knock out a few press ups, like he did a few seasons ago. Meant to be a bit nippers tomorrow, so good luck with that one, mate.

Re: What is wrong?

You could say that Stam is being brutally honest when he says that "if there's somebody else out there who thinks they can do a better job then crack on". His arrogance is staggering and, unless things change fairly prompto, will come back to bite him on the 'arris. The number of people wh...

Re: In or Out?

Pards sounds like too much of a feasible proposition. However, these days, quite a few clubs seem to appoint some random foreigner that nobody's ever heard of. Subsequently leading to mass googling. And given our hierarchical structure at the mo', I wouldn't discount that option either.
