Great job done by everyone involved in setting Club 1871 up - the atmosphere was dire until this!

Re: Club 1871 - the What, When, Where, How, Who & Why Thread

I can't believe there are people on in actually arguing against a group of fans who are doing their best to create some atmosphere. Who in their right mind can be up for a packed end behind the goal full of away fans? Thankfully the club have seen sense and are at least giving it a chance.

Re: Back from booing at my tv screen

AthleticoSpizz .....the usual, them forgetting who the customers are?

Or just pi55ed off with losing? (again)

Me? I tend to turn up to watch the football, not the platitudes and niceties of acknowledgement from the well-paid mavericks

You miss my point they just may have been pissed off with our rubbish support

Re: Back from booing at my tv screen

It my have escaped every one's notice but not one player applauded the fans when they left the field so their opinion of us us must be pretty low and quite rightly so

Re: BFTG - Norwich home

It's absolutely amazing we have just beaten Norwich 3 1 if anyone can upon this site and didn't know the score and just sat down to read the posts they would be convinced that we had just lost. It's a fact if you want to feel pissed off after a good result just log onto here guaranteed to bring you ...

Re: BFTG - Norwich home

PieEater Another random thought. Norwich have a great squad of players, but the one player who always does well against us is Hoolahan, yet Neil doesn't start him. IMHO he deserves to be sacked - not starting their best player.

Great Decision

Re: BFTG CARDIFF

LWJ Jaap Stam had a dream,
To build a football team,
We had no money so we had to get them on free's,
McShane at the back,
Rakelss in attack,
We're Reading FC,
We're on our way back.

Excellent. It would be great if it catches on.

Re: BFTG - Burnley

Well that was rubbish! Such a dire game of 'football'. The ball spent most of the time in the air and aside from a decent early move from Burnley there was zero football played today. So many errors and not much in the way of dynamic forward play. Burnley's tactic was to hit the ball into the chann...

Re: BFTG - Burnley

Dull, dull, dull. You? or the game? It was anything but dull. With a shit ref and a pantomime villain, two reasonable sides, it never drifted. It was good stuff. In a week when there are rugby internationals and the first legs of champions league ties, it was good to watch some competitive and ente...

Pepe the Horseman Maybe because we've got so many good options we're weighing them all up and taking our time.

Yes that seems fair. I'm convinced this team will go on a winning run now anyway now that Clarke's been dumped. Kuhl will do a good job while we're waiting.

Re: Are to unhappy Steve Clark is staying?

The problem is we have got quality players and a manager that just really doesn't know what he is doing and the quality players know that
