Re: Gomes after 10 League Games

Personally thought Kermorgant sounded like a spoiled twat in his interview. Nowhere near as genuine as Moore was. Gomes greatest weapon is the way he speaks. He has a romantic turn of phrase that can easily charm people and means he can get away with some things that others may not. An example is wh...

Re: Champions League & Europa League 2018/19

I think that Liverpool will beat Barca (they are a far better team then man u and wont roll over and have their belly tickled). I would love spurs to win but ajax are one of those sneaky teams that play utterly class. Will kane be back? I dont know. But who knows what could happen. Imagine a spurs ...

Re: That Robin Friday goal, now visible on video (sort of)

Nameless AS someone who was at that game I can assure you Friday was actually sat on a stool in the Public bar of the Spreadeagle when he scored that goal. Didn’t spill a drop either....

What a load of bollocks.

He was on the roof of the Spread Eagle when he hit it.

Re: BFTG - Brentford

Disappointing that what should have been a pretty positive thread on the Brentford game has descended into another war of words over Gunter. There is so much criticism over his apparent failure to close players down and allow crosses to come in. I would suggest that over the past couple of seasons ...

Re: Club 1871 - the What, When, Where, How, Who & Why Thread

Soul Man Great job done by everyone involved in setting Club 1871 up - the atmosphere was dire until this!

It was dire until we started winning football matches.

Re: Opposition fans back from the game

Have to laugh at the person on there who said that Ref was a "Homer".

He gave them absolutely everything, including failing to give us a free kick in the lead up to the free kick that got them back into the game.

Re: BFTG - Brentford

Why do they have to make things so difficult for themselves and us? If I looked back at a replay of the game I'd probably wonder what I was worried about in terms of actual chances. However, watching that ball bounce around our box was nerve racking. The Referee was awful. They wouldn't have had the...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Norwich City (a) sponsored by James Harper

So our time wasting worked. because Norwich were winning at the end of normal time you have to wonder why the ref added that much? Martinez was flirting with a red. He was booked for time wasting and persisted to do it. It worked in our favour in the end. Pooh Key also had a problem which he appear...

Re: BFTG - The miracle of Carrow Road.

Battling performance against all the odds. Good starting line up from Gomes, credit where it's due for his pragmatism rather than being ideological and going there and thinking we could go toe to toe with Norwich. Didn't think he had it in him. Martinez - Brilliant saves to keep us in the game, esp...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Norwich City (a) sponsored by James Harper

Meite confuses me. For a player that doesn’t seem like he has any real footballing talent he seems to score quite lovely goals. That's probably because he does have footballing talent. As I've said before, he has all the attributes. it's about us and him unlocking it. That's why Clement, Mr Dai and...
