Re: The very latest in Clement In/Out Polls

Definitely IN for me. I see a huge improvement from the gutless and awful displays under Stam. We are (admittedly very slowly) getting better. To me the difference between this season and last is the Ipswich performance Saturday as compared to the Birmingham at home performance under Stam. Last sea...

Re: BFTG - Ipshit H

Going back to yesterday, I think we need to recognise that Ipswich were actually decent in the first half, in fact far better than Norwich were a few weeks ago who are now top. There have been some strange games in the championship this season (including yesterday) and I think its a quite a level le...

Re: The Academy/Development squads watch thread 2015//16

Going back to Kuhl, I'm surprised he didn't kick on; briefly looked good when he got a few games under Adkins, then we got stuffed 4-0 at Forest and he had a poor game admittedly and that was it....

Hound wrote:So 2 for both House and Loader

Would be happy to see either or both getting game time in the first 11 with Bod and maybe Meite out

It would be nice if we could get to a position of safety with a few games left to try out Loader and House in the first team. Probably wishful thinking though.

Re: RUMOUR - Steve Bruce

Agreed with all old timers, only Reading for me. So indifferent about AFCB that I actually want them to do well in the Premiership. Unlike Brighton, whose fans have a far higher image of themselves. Cannot wait for the pendulum to swing back for them. Aldershot the true rivals, but even then, I’d l...

Re: Rumour - Phil Parkinson

Well Bruce is experienced at least. This may be unfair, but he strikes me as one of the serial failures who get work based on name and is slowly sliding down the leagues (as we are). I'd rather stick or Parky for certain. How many promotions or even half decent campaigns in this league has Parky ha...

Re: RUMOUR - Steve Bruce

In for that...if you look at his track record over the piece at this level its pretty decent, got Villa who were in complete disarray before he arrived into the play-offs in 18 months.

Sorry Parky fans but he's a much better option

Re: Rival Watch

As expected, Hirst has gone from Ipswich. Took a massive gamble, safe to say it did not pay off for him, Ipswich and Shrewsbury. Should have kept MM. Paul Lambert to take over, not sure the Norwich fans will like that too much! How does this guy continue to get work? I may be wrong but it appears h...

Re: Rival Watch

We're essentially already in a league of 6 (poss 7 with Bolton) and the bottom 3 will come from that group. We are actually doing well in that section having W3 L1 against the teams down there. If we can continue picking up points of them and somehow beat a team placed 16th or higher, that should b...

Not local so obviously don't see the U23's, but just interested to know how good Ben House is, seems to be scoring goals for fun this season.

Re: Rumour - Phil Parkinson

You were talking about management exposure at Championship level, you can't bring time as an assistant manager or League 1 / 2 into that. You've taken no account of club circumstance. Colchester, Bradford and Bolton were all very successful jobs for Parky yet you seem to want to put the mist negati...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Millwall (h) sponsored by Terry Hurlock

The official site are saying both Mannone and Walker are injured, so on the basis both were fit last game (Mannone was on the bench) they've both got injured in training??
