Do you have multiple major honours?

He came runner up to me at the Bell End of the Year awards 2014 if that counts.

That makes no sense. He was a shoe-in winner

Re: Liam Moore to Brighton

Brighton keen on offering a bid with Baldock who we’re keen on. I think he’s replaceable but we should absolutely rinse them as much as we can. Baldock. 90 goals in 287 league apps. Roughly 1 goal in 3. 29 years old. Best return was the 34 in 83 games at Bristol City 5 years ago. Since then 18 in 8...

Re: The Academy/Development squads watch thread 2015//16

A few things impress me there He seems ultra-cool. Almost every shot was careful, deliberate, beautifully-placed, no lashing at the ball and hoping. He moves and keeps moving, thus getting to loose balls and scoring. His penalties were just-as-cool finishes. He looks like he could bulk out a fair bi...

Re: Liam Moore to Brighton

If 3M is true (and a bit on the low side) it's surprising
as surely there is no rush, and we have reasonable
clout with Moore's long contract.

Unless it's tied to a swap to bring in a striker, I don't get the rush.

Re: CONFIMRED - Tommy Elphick

with McShane as well, he is obviously less comfortable on the ball than Ilori or Moore. It was probably more of an effort to play the possession game mentally. Really he should just concentrate on being a bit of a thug and organising the back line Yeh a couple of really tall thugs in the centre of ...

Re: Building for next season

Craig Lima, or was that too long ago? Hey, well-spotted! YES Strangely, I've been listening to a book about memory and learning while walking my 20K+ steps a day and the author was talking about the "OK Plateau" which we improve to and then get stuck. To go PAST that you have to speed up,...

Re: Building for next season

Cooper was a classic example of Stam letting a player go who wasn't a good enough technical footballer. Yet is proving himself more than able to play at Championship level. Cooper was more than good enough technically, certainly head and shoulders above McShane (no pun intended). His issue was that...

Re: Goodbye

I'm expecting pretty much the same next year. I'm not. I think, at worse, we'll be half-way. We have a lot of very decent players, and once the defensive structure (particularly defending from the front and DM) is sorted, we will be hard to beat Clement did his job of keeping us up, but from here h...

Re: Goodbye

Just to give you an idea of how bad this division was this year and as a result, how lucky we have been to survive: After the Cardiff 2-2 draw on 11th December, we stood 14th with a total of 27pts from 21 games Despite only picking up a further 17pts from 25 games, we only dropped 6 places in the d...

Re: Goodbye

I'm not necessarily trying to judge him now, maybe im not communicating my point right, but our performances under him have been awful not giving me much confidence for next year, and I don't think it would be right to praise him for keeping us up. I think anyone would've done to be honest. Very un...

Re: Cardiff v Reading Official Prediction Thread

Well done RJ, the least-worst tipster. Considering it's possible to score upwards of 25 for one game it's amazing that the WINNER has averaged 2. All those 3s, 2s, 1s, zeroes (FOR A SEASON) are amazing. For my own part, I find it difficult to be objective about predicting a Reading score. I suspect,...
