Re: New Manager

I detest clubs who go behind a manager's back and negotiate a replacement before they're gone. Not only is it immoral, I reckon a good lawyer could get a decent law suit out of it. I agree but why sack Clement two days before the game? Surely he should have been given the Sheffield game rather than...

Look at the poll result on the other thread. Around 50% voted that he should not be sacked.

Re: Clement sacked!

I fall into the surprised and a little disappointed camp. I really thought he had a monumental job when he was appointed, after Stams ruinous time here and having been to just about all home games and 70% of the away games for the last 2 years really thought I saw signs recently that we were making ...

Re: Gourlay

I think the injury theory is a bit of a myth ... other clubs have horendous injury lists and it's not down to any particular reason, just bad luck. I really don't think that in this day and age, it's anything other than that. So asking the question might make you look like a bit of a conspiracy the...

They will just kiss his backside. They can't go for him because he will just start banning the press from matches and press conferences, the bloke is a oxf*rd worm. Have to say there was nothing new. They did it in parts. It was all done nicely nicely. He basically sounded like a CEO which is that ...

Re: Madejski Out

If sir John had just taken the risk and invested in our great 2006 side we could have been a Bournemouth or Brighton , instead he was scared of the huge costs of sustaining PL survival. I still don't believe all that TV money went out on wages, Bournemouth get crowds of 11.000 for Christ sake. it w...

Yep I'm gonna be just as negative as when Clement was appointed. So you were negative before the team kicked a ball under Clement, negative when he kept us up and now negative before the transfer window has really got going ....oh, unless he buys the player you think we should have....gotcha! Re: BFTG Villa

Didn't go last night, but from I read it seemed it was Snodgrass' delivery that was the difference between the teams. With the talent Villa had upfront, any half decent ball in the box would cause most teams problems. Given it was against 10 men dont think anyone can be surprised or even over react...

I'm going, just wonder if there is any chance of it being called off due to weather.

The east of the UK is meant to get a lot of snow overnight.

Re: BFTG ‘Ull (A)

The performance was nowhere near as bad as some on here are saying, but I guess the 8 pages of nonsense on the match page is based on what they heard from Low and Dellor. We were on top for the first 20 mins and nearly scored and then we lose 2 key players in quick succession which did affect the r...

Re: Could Stam be contracted to his current style of play?

Apparently there was a comment on the radio during the Birmingham match ( i didn't hear it I was at the match) concerning the style of play being so slow that our fitness may be suffering. We aren't playing fast committed football for 90 minutes each week ( that part is certainly true) and as a cons...

*cough* Jason Roberts *cough* I hope not but yes that is a possible downside Is it a similar injury? I like Kermogant, I am really happy that, if he is fit and able to retain that fitness, he has signed a new contract. However he is coming back from a fairly long layoff and he is no spring chicken,...
