Actually to be fair, Blackett was one of our better performers in the first half. He managed to find another orange shirt with his passes on THREE (count ‘em) occasions!

BFTG Wednesday (a)

Been home for a good few hours, but I just couldn’t be arsed to write anything about that. Wednesday were on the beach for most of the game.......but still easily beat us 3-0.......What a waste of the only sunshine we’ll get this year...Abject.

In, as it is the closest ground to me and we might actually get a point from the game.

Re: Definitive Paul Clement whelmguage

I'm 6/10 on the whelmage scale. Let's face it, we're Reading and it's about as good an appointment as we could have hoped for. I don't really buy into the whole " he's been sacked by Swansea and Derby therefore he must be sh1t" thing. After all we sacked Rodgers and he's gone on to be rel...

Re: Definitive Paul Clement whelmguage

I’m underwhelmed, but not because I don’t like Clement or think he is ‘a specialist in failure’.......more because it is such a crucial appointment for the club and PC himself. He needs a decent run in a job after two percieved failures (with mitigating circumstances both times) and we obviously nee...

Re: BFTG - Leeds

Why are people thinking that entire performance and a point was good enough? Seriously? We’re a shambles. And it’s getting worse. Leeds were a dreadful away side and they scored two and got a draw. But hey! We got a point. Are you all totally fcuking mad? Indeed. As I left I heard someone say ‘oh w...

Re: BFTG - Leeds

Much, much better performance. Really enjoyed that today! Yes, the subs weren’t great, Evans was our driving force in midfield but Edwards just couldn’t match that when he came on. I think a point is fair overall. Special mention to Aluko who had a really good game for the most part....mainly becaus...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Nottingham Forest (a) sponsored by things can only get better

It’s a weird one - everyone sees him do it, nobody likes him doing it and it ruins the whole shape of the team quite clearly, and yet it continues to happen Indeed. That is why I’d love to know if Stam is encouraging it or if Aluko wants to play there more himself. I was at the FA Cup Final in 2014...

Re: The idiots of Twitter thread

I enjoyed the tweet yesterday where he criticised Jem Karacan for being unable to get into the Bolton team (he's been injured) Even when he wasn't injured he was dropped, not been good enough and Bolton fans are hoping to not see him near the starting line up currently. Shame as I always rated the ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Nottingham Forest (a) sponsored by things can only get better

As I said in the BFTG thread, a lot of our (self created) problems in the 2nd half stemmed from Aluko drifting further and further in field. In the 1st half him, Barrow, Gunter and Richards provided plenty of width. This pegged Forest back and allowed us to control the game tempo. Barrow didn’t nee...

A point gained is a point closer to staying up. I’d take a point on Saturday too. I know we need more, but at the moment some points are better than none. Lets just hope Saturday is as surprising as Derby away......

Re: BFTG Forest (A)

its been his big problem all season. When he stays out wide, as Barrow does, he looks quite effective. He is an awful CM though, which is where he seems to take himself But the effort levels were definitely vastly improved Agreed. I really like him as a player and think he has so much to offer us. ...

Re: BFTG Forest (A)

Superb live free stream on Twitter last night meant i could watch the entire game sat on my sofa. There are literally no positives that can be drawn from that display at all. Utterly directionless for the entire 90 minutes. Forest should have scored five or more in the second half. Embarrassing. #s...

Re: BFTG Forest (A)

Having been at the game (and taking ages to get out of Nottingham last night due to roadworks) I thought I'd share some thoughts. First half - generally thought we were pretty good but fortunate not to concede due to the offside goal. Plenty of movement, some dodgy long passes by Joey, Bacuna spray...
