Re: Which of our players are genuinely premier league quality?

I always find this debate a bit strange for two reasons. The first is that outside the top 5/6 teams, the remaining 14/15 teams are virtually at the same standard. As others have said, most of the players could be moved from one squad to another. It seems to come down to organisation and management ...

Scored the winner against Germany U17 tonight in Rotherham! So glad the only game of the three he took no part in (apart from sprinting up the touchline and back) I went to!!

Re: The Academy/Development squads watch thread 2015//16

Off to England U17 v Portugal U17 in Chesterfield tomorrow night. Hoping that Jack Nolan gets some game time up front. Basically seeing him play is the only reason I’m going! England fought back from 0-2 down to win 3-2 in the final minutes.......Jack Nolan did an excellent job of warming the bench...

Looking forward to some 5 Parkinsons. Kinda hoping for an exciting but fair draw.

Know what you mean. Really want Parky to keep them up. Considering the state (still) of Bolton’s finances, he has worked a bloody miracle!

I’d take a draw right now. In fact, I’d treat a 0-0 as a win! However I don’t see it happening!

Maybe I should ask them to pay for my train travel from Chesterfield to Sheffield, as I couldn’t take advantage of the free coach.......

Re: Bolton (A)

There is absolutely no way I will be taking time off work to spend money and 8 hours on a motorway to go to Bolton on a Tuesday night to watch 90mins of football that involves Reading, sitting with people that probably haven't showered that week. Some of you lot need your heads checking. Just over ...

Re: Thames Valley Whites (Leeds United Supporters Club)

Even if you was offered a £20 ticket at Elland Road it is doubtful your sales would increase by a hundred or so. We sold more tickets to the Sheffield United away match next week (£22) on the first day of sales, than we have for the whole time the Leeds match has been on sale. I wanted to go to bot...

Re: Sheffield Utd - Back from the game

What is coming through from each one of these posts is the same thing. Those of us who were there, those listening on the radio and seemingly the players too, all wondering who was playing where! As I said in my post, I was dismayed with the number of times Blackett was the furthest player forward o...

Re: Sheffield Utd - Back from the game

Been back a little while, the short trip home was possibly the best thing about it! Anyway, we looked ok for the first 10 or so, a couple direct attacks (that came to nothing) and Barrow’s pace chasing long balls looked to be an outlet......then they scored. After that there was only one team in it....

The train from Chesterfield is delayed.

My kids complain about the walk to Bramall Lane

Sheff Utd 3-0 Reading

I bump into my Blades loving work-mate on the way out......and he drunkenly gloats and upsets my kids

Th train back is also delayed......

Brilliant result! Great to see Stam giving a little to allow us to be direct. He clearly is the man to take us forward! Delighted for Mo, impressed everytime I’ve seen him this year. Obviously Lolololeeds.....

Surrounded by Leeds fans at work and on my street......the 2-0 loss last year was bad enough......I fear something far worse today!!
