Re: Best/Worst Pundit

Agreed on Drury, for some reason people seem to think he's great, but I can't stand his voice. Is he the main guy on BT Sport? If so, yeah, he can oxf*rd off. BTs main guy is Darren Fletcher.....he was great on Five Live (pre him doing any TV).....but has disappeared up his own arse since joining B...

Re: Why doesn't the MadStad host concerts and music events?

I’m in the ‘Elton was great’ group......I really enjoyed it! I went to an Elton concert where he played his entire new album from start to finish. That wasn't much fun. I agree with above though that he's got a load of fantastic songs alongside the popular hits. At the Mad Stad he played several so...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Cardiff City (h) sponsored by a nice quiet evening out

To be honest, this result has been coming under Stam. We've been 2-0 up in many games under him and let the other side back in with a late goal - Villa at home this season, Sheff Weds, Barnsley, Bristol City, Brighton, Blackburn We just usually see the game out, today we didn't. Was bound to happen...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Cardiff City (h) sponsored by a nice quiet evening out

Reading not mentioned. No interview with Stam Don’t really care. Saw the game, know what Stam will say anyway That's true but is it too much to ask for a level playing field? Not with Bellamy telling everyone we were lucky to be 2-0 up........and talking all about how amazing Cardiff were 2nd half....

Re: MATCHWATCH : Cardiff City (h) sponsored by a nice quiet evening out

2-2 was afair result overall. We bossed it first half and look comfortable. We did get cocky in the 2nd and then dropped deeper and deeper and deeper. 2nd goal was as annoying as it was inevitable. Can’t wait for Sky’s Colin love in after this break   Next month is going to make or break...

Re: Why doesn't the MadStad host concerts and music events?

Elton John played the first concert at the Mad Stad in 2005. There have been some Capital FM Ball type events since 2006 too, but I can’t remember any in recent years.

Re: FA Cup 3rd Round

That'll be nailed on for Mansfield away then. I’d just cancel my trip south and travel over from Chesterfield  Actually, Mansfield away would be a cracking away day.....how many pubs within 10 minute walk from Field Mill? I went back a couple of years ago for the first time in about 20 ...

Re: BFTG Sunderland

It was only 240 mile round trip for us.....so I feel like a fraud compared to those of you who came from Berkshire! The free park and ride from the retail park was ace......and particuarly good value on the way back, as my sons were loudly discussing how well we’d played on a bus full of stoney sile...

Re: BFTG Sunderland

At least those Sunderland fans had something to shout about etc......

Probably their best bit of movement all game......

No different to what was happening on the pitch.....

Yeah, I’m done now

Re: BFTG Sunderland

Blitzed the 280 miles home in under 4 and a half hours. We played very well and Sunderland were pretty poor but a tidy side. I think they'll stay up with Coleman as manager. On to us, I don't think the sending off changed the game as we were the better side when it was 11 vs 11. MoM was between Bar...

BFTG Sunderland

Just got in. What a great win! The 1st half was fairly even in terms of chances but I’d say we played the better football. There was a little bit of bite from both teams and I was pleased to see Aluko getting amongst it! Obviously the balance swung in our favour when McManaman get sent off in injury...

Well a win against Barnsley and we move further away from the relegation zone....
