Zlatan - again - retribution - but not as clever - guilty.

3 game ban for Zlatan - 5 game ban for Mings.

Re: Brian Tevreden to Derby??

Fcuking hell. Charles with his finger on the pulse and he's not even our reporter any more. I'd be surprised if this happens. Brian seemed very passionate about the project in interviews. Depends how much money Derby offer him I guess, and what the takeover situation is... For Watts to 100% know th...

I am hoping and predicting that Sheffield Wednesday vs Fulham will be the fixture that keeps us in the play off positions at the end of the season.

Re: Season ticket renewals 17/18

Hmm, the cynic in me immediately thought cash flow issues as it is very early to be doing renewals. And the price reduction just increases that concern for me as they are trying to get as many people to commit as soon as possible with excellent pricing (especially as my ticket in the ED went down l...

Re: Opposition fans back from the game

Loved this... Was it me (and my s*** hearing) or did I hear our lot sing 'Gouffran's s**** m'lord, Gouffran's s****' a couple times? I swear I heard it directly after he did something s*** as well  with a reply being... Their fans - Paul McShane my lord. But the originator started it with... My...

Re: Opposition fans back from the game

There it is ladies and gentleman we have another.....its a tinpot - I repeat we have a tinpot!! Worst away venue I've been to. The bus service from rail station to ground and back was an absolute joke - 1000's queuing for 1 bus that turns up every 5-10 minutes. I hope we never have to play this tinp...

Re: BFTG Newcastle (H)

Seen some excellent matches this year (Brentford, Fulham, Huddersfield) and not so excellent (QPR) and that was definitely in the not so excellent. Whilst respecting the fact Newcastle are league leaders with the best away record in the division, it was all too slow and predictable on ball retentio...

Mings clearly knew what he was doing and with the conflicting comments on here show that he executed his plan to perfection.

Zlatan - again - retribution - but not as clever - guilty.

3 game ban for Zlatan - 4 or 5 game ban for Mings.

Basingstoke Town seem to be in a bit of a pickle - talk of giving up The Camrose at the end of the season with no new ground ready or share identified.

Worrying times.

Re: Stewards - "siiiiit down!!!"

In all seriousness though I just think the Y26 brigade should just keep bursting out the stand up if you love reading, stand up if you love jaap stam, stand up if you love tikka takka football, play a little game... and this will all blow over

Re: Stewards - "siiiiit down!!!"

Okay Some facts If you behave sensibly and don't stand up the stewards won't bother you. Simple. It's an all seater stadium for a reason. Look up your British football history and you'll find out why. If you want to stand up while watching football go to a ground that has few seats. Some stewards a...

Re: BFTG Wolves

I don't think there is any papering over the cracks. Nobody at the club is claiming we are in any way the finished article and are almost certainly punching above our weight in terms of squad level and experience in this league To grind out a win is testament to the mentality of the squad and playe...

Re: BFTG Wolves

We won due to the fact Wolves were so sh*te .......we were one tiny notch above sh*te that being the fact we got three points. The clock is clearly ticking......Jaap Stam is a wonderful manager, top player, won it all blah blah.....but.....his style of football is so bloody dull and boring you can ...

Re: The Manager Sack Race/Merry-go-Round

Motherwell sack FSB Maybe Leicester will have him  I wonder if he looks back and thinks about what might have been at Reading. He managed to do what Stam is trying to do now at the back and the miracle was turning players like Steve Richardson into a passer rather than just a "clear it&qu...

Re: Where I think we stand.

As an aside, wonder how we would fair with 3 at the back... no passing sideways allowed it's clear your lines or pass to midfielder... and all the passing and pressing is done in middle and final third.... No putting ourselves under pressure and when we lose the ball... 9 get back behind the ball. F...
