Re: Carabao

The NHS website recommends that an adult's daily intake of sugars shouldn't exceed 30 grams. One can of Carabao contains 35.8 grams.

If you want to think of the children, the daily intake for a 7-10 year old shouldn't exceed 20 grams.

Carabao

The rubbish 'energy drink' that our players advertise on their shirts is well into the high rate of Osborne's new tax on unhealthy sugar-filled drinks.

It has 35.8 grams of sugar in each 325ml can, which, if I've got my sums right, is 11.02 grams per 100 ml.

Don't suppose it will change anything.

Re: Would you cash in on Blackman?

semtex1871 I have it from a good sauce that he will definitely not be signing a new contract with Reading........

Nothing like a good sauce.

But does anyone actually want to buy him?

Re: Who do you want to replace Clarke?

There's an article in today's Times saying that, if he is going to get on in management, Ryan Giggs needs to leave Manchester United. Maybe he could be tempted to manage Reading?

Re: TEAMWATCH : Rotherham United (a)

Reading never win on a cold wet Tuesday night at a crap team in the north. I'd love to be wrong. Well if one treats Oct, Nov, Dec, Jan and Feb as "cold and wet", which of course is stretching things a bit, and if you consider any matches against teams north of Birmingham as being "no...

Melton Royal From Twatter

Many apologies to those that have been waiting patiently for Reading FC Player commentary. Problems are now fixed and it's working now.

To those impatient oxf*rds who couldn't wait - thanks for your money
