Re: Building for next season

The benefit of ifollow over attending a game is you have instant replay at your finger tips. Which I used to re-watch the many goals we conceded this season. The benefit of being at the game is that you have a much bigger picture than that on the screen. It's also what others don't do that matters....

Not really sure why. I have a busy life.
£30 more than last year. Upper West Renewal.
20th year as STH.
There should have been a discount after last season - next may be my last.

Bit of a weird lie

Re: RUMOUR - Andy Yiadom

IF this deal goes through I feel this could be a big turning point. Last season it took forever to get deals over the line and we often lost out. I am also assured that Clement and co seem to be looking at champ players and not foreign punts. A big statement of intent ( yes I used it) if this happe...

Can't be doing with them coming up again. What is the point in it?

I know. I really want Shrews to come up so I can do a weekend round there and Telford/Ironbridge

Re: CONFIMRED - Dave Edwards

He is just a nothing footballer. Every game I have watched him in he has offered nothing and the game just passes him by, recklessly gave away that penalty against QPR which could have sent us down, then that sending off at Villa. Nice bloke (as everyone keeps on saying), just hasn't worked out for...

Re: European Leagues Thread 2012/2013

Sounds fantastic. Did you feel at all intimidated being (presumably) English? Did anyone notice you were and 'welcome' you, so to speak? Not really no (to feeling intimidated). We were sat in a bar before the game having a chat with the locals and it was all fine, they were interested in us but nev...

Re: Strikers.

Isn't Novakovich a bit of a target man? If so that'd make 3 strikers here next season all of whom are a similar type so you'd think really what we should look for is something a bit different, perhaps in the mould of a Dominic Samuel type. I wouldn't have described him as a target man, but I believ...

Re: Rival Watch

Yeah Derby were really really poor. Fulham definitely deserved it on the day I thought Kasey Palmer showed minor flashes of brilliance when he came on. The only one who bothered to take the game by the scruff of the neck and run at them. If we could get him on loan next season (as he will no doubt ...

Re: Strikers.

Well, we went in to this season with just Yann and Bod. And look where we finished! Open your eyes man. What striker(s) would you like to see us sign, realistically? I think we could get Cameron Jerome, Che Adams and/or Nakhi Wells and maybe even a Sam Baldock/someone else not playing in a dross Pr...

Come on. You'd seriously accept that as a strikeforce? 3 washed up target men who haven't hit double figures for years!

Re: Play-Offs Thread 2018

Nope. Why would we Theo Walcott the hell out of the most promising young player we've had since Rooney? He's had 1.5 very good seasons in the Championship; and even then with the peaks and troughs in form you'd expect of a 17 year old. There's no rush and he isn't better (for now) than our other op...

Re: Play-Offs Thread 2018

Nothing wrong with flags IMO. Noiseless and looks good if confined to the beginning of the game. It's been a while since we had clappers I think. I think Forest (H) in 2012 was the last time I remember them at the Madejski. Yep flags are decent for the big games, good for the kids too. Hello both -...
