Perhaps with the Irish link he could go to Nottingham Forest. A swap deal for Matty Cash would be nice.

Re: The Manager Sack Race/Merry-go-Round

Slightly odd that It would appear both Karanka and WAgner instigated their own departures, although for quitedifferent reasons. Neither appear to have other jobs lined up, not often a manager just quits like that. It's just for face-saving purposes. They are paid off handsomely to make it look like...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Derby County (a) sponsored by Yakubu

All I see here is an out of sorts Derby County. We have a good record up there and are coming off the back of a good win and a general feel-good factor.

A draw is the least I will accept from this game.

Re: The Manager Sack Race/Merry-go-Round

Yeah I do think Wagner seems to have something about him. Some managers benefit from big spending or just being at a club at the rigt time, I don't think you can say that about him and he took a small time club up to the PL against all odds. Can't really be a fluke imo File under Marco Silva as a s...

Re: The generic transfer thread

Alan Judge set to sign for Ipswich. Was really highly rated a few seasons ago. Never really recovered after breaking his leg against... Ipswich. I felt he deserved the high ratings that season Brentford got to the playoffs. Even still, I think Ipswich's problems lie with an out and out goalscorer m...

Re: Opposition fans back from the game

Don't tell them that. They still believe they are the epitome of football, the creme de la creme and probably that football was invented by some chap called Keith in his Leeds garage after getting jiggy with the 1800's version of Claudia Schiffer Poor run of form for Bournemouth. Do you fear relega...

His uncle Ben certainly recommends him.

As does the whole of the media.

I don't think he's all that.

Re: Opposition fans back from the game

A lot of prickly Forest fans this weekend blaming the ref. It's easy to say as a Reading fan but I don't know how they can complain with both reds (Murphy could even have gone for his wild lunge too). Ref was shocking today. So inconsistent. Punished fouls by Forest by let similar ones off for Readi...

What sort of question is that? At least use the English language properly. Another keyboard warrior. How tiresome. Well quite. John Smith is dreadfully tiresome. I can’t be having that, his Tom Denton suggestion was inspired.... I'm sorry. From this point forward I will be improving. I am now José ...

Rotherham - really struggling for open play goals, and unable to effectively play the attacking style of football that got them promoted. Ipswich - massively overachieved last season despite playing awful football, finished mid table pretty much solely due to McCarthy and his set piece focus, his r...

Re: Tiago llori

Some polite applause is a little different to a standing ovation IMO. Both of which utterly ridiculous and out of place regarding a player who has just been red carded. Glad to see the back of Ilori, as I am with any player in our squad. He needs to be replaced, however. And I don't mean with the g...
