They've got some decent players to be fair. I wouldn't be that harsh.

Re: BFTG - Norwich

JS can you name 3 teams you think will finish below us, and detail why? Rotherham United : weakest team in the division with regards to quality. Not a big enough budget/attractive enough to recruit the right players to keep them up. Birmingham City : flirted with relegation for years, no real quali...

I think we probably will beat Hull and we will also beat QPR. Two very poor sides.

What are we then?

In and around that but not bad enough to be relegated in my opinion. Pretty much QPR.

Re: BFTG - Norwich

Interesting point this. Regardless if you want Clement to be sacked. Do you think he will be? And if so, when? Well my opinion is that I don't want him to be sacked, however to answer your question I think if this form continues and we don't pick up any more points until now and QPR then he will go...

At what point does it become bad enough that he has to go though? For me, Clement could take us down and still remain in the job. Your thoughts? Interesting point this. Re: I think I’m done - just can’t watch this lot anymore

My shout would be the 1999 team. August and Sept, April - May were horrifying. Do you mean the Bullivant relegation season of 97/98? Oxford away on 17 March 1998 remains my benchmark for apocalyptically bad Reading moments when you truly believe the club might totally implode. How does the current ...

Re: BFTG - Norwich

I wonder when that floating straw is going to break our poor camel's back. I fear it's getting very close. And yet it shouldn't have to be. The Championship is so open it can be a different season every season for any team (more or less). Look at oxf*rd Millwall last season - normally they yo-yo be...

Re: Rival Watch

Isn't he an Everton player these days? Quite right - right reason, wrong club  Not being a smart arse here-I just remember Everton paying what I thought was way over the odds for him. Ye, but Villa?! In the Championship? Honestly. Surely someone like a West Ham or Newcastle would have taken him?

And yet you and John Smith are still obsessive about it. Weird. Kes levels weird. I'm not obsessed with it. I just feel that there's a sense of elitism within the group and thoughts of grandeur and being closer to the players, yet I didn't see any of them at Deepdale on Saturday - you know - to sup...

Re: BFTG - Preston

Why do you say we look a team destined for relegation and then say Clement will get it right and we will stay up? Which is it? I said that at this moment we look like a side destined for the drop. Because of the indecision in our play and not a clear and perfected method of play that is efficient a...

Re: Reading v Norwich Match 10 Prediction League

Hmmmmm tricky one.....Might come down to earth with a bang. Good result for Norwich at the weekend. Worrying that if they broke down a Pullis team, and kept a clean sheet, what will they do with our defence. Could be tight....Though again with Norwich you don't know what your gonna get sometimes......

Re: MATCHWATCH : Preston North End (a) sponsored by the season starts here

If you put any stock in xG, shows we did a little bit of a smash and grab on Preston who xG suggests should have won 3-2 (2.5xG V 1.5) rather than lost. Will take that any day of the week though. Important to get off the mark - and with 2 other teams who have struggled so far this season coming up ...
