Re: Club 1871 - the What, When, Where, How, Who & Why Thread

A difficult night for Club 1871 last night. Where do they go from here? Because the south stand is fully allocated to away fans for cup games its irrelivant if they dont sell enough to fill it. But dont let facts get in the way of a good rant . They knew full well Birmingham wouldn't sell their all...

Re: Smallest Attack in Champ

Would still like to see another target man come in regardless but that won't happen now, think Meite should be put on the wing and Bodvarsson therefore would be our only target man striker (I think?) with Kermorgant terminating his contract, could do with another one especially if we are playing on...

Re: CONFIMRED - George Evans to Derby

think they are just over excited coz of Lampard being there , and a couple of decent loans in. He'll have to improve immensely to be a decent Champ player. Thought Sunderland was much more his level Absolutely. oxf*rd Lampard - he's completely unproven as a manager. Evans is proven as unable to han...

Re: Season 2018/2019

The personnel we have at the back are of a decent quality. The lack of protection they had last season was shocking. Hopefully Meyler will sort this out. Think O'Shea and Blackett will do a job, hoping that they earmarked for playing cup games to give others a rest. Up top, we could get the best st...

Re: Summer Transfers

know this got mentioned elsewhere, but had a look at Martyn Waghorn's stats. Considering he isn't young, 8 million basically for one 16 goal championship season. The only other goals he has really scored were in the Scottish second tier. Waghorn is a total middle of the road Championship striker no...

Re: RUMOUR - Sam Walker

no can see that one. Stam clearly didn't rate - I think he was training with us pre-season before the 16/17 season, and I thought he might get another chance. personally thought he was worth another go, certainly rather than Jaakkola Definitely. What I don't understand is why WBA have signed him wh...
