BFTG Forest Home

Surprised not to see a thread already. We really deserved the win today, Forest where a shambles and in the end it was a comfortable win, The goal was one of the best I've seen at the Mad stad, an incisive pass and great one touch play with a good finish from Swift. After the handbags with Murphy, w...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Millwall (a) sponsored by Dean Horrix

A relegation 6 pointer, new manager to impress, and the game is over after 9 minutes.

This team is an embarrassment.

So guess that means curtains for Gibbs, Beasant, Gilkes etc. unless they’re planning on over staffing in that area as well.

I think this is the major worry, the core of the club is being eroded.

BFTG Boro Home

Predictable loss. I was surprised how negative Boro were, their 10-0-1 formation indicated they thought they'd nick a goal, as indeed they did. If they'd of been more attacking they'd of won comfortably. We had a couple of chances but were always going to lose this game despite dominating possession,

Re: BFTG Sheffield

The Jazz had been booked before the KO time was changed so they decided to section off half the bar and then threaten people to leave if happened to have spent £5 on a pint and not left within 5 mins of you getting served. A lesson in how to be heavy handed for no particular reason. The first time I...

Re: BFTG Sheffield

TBF I expected this result, I was more concerned about the complete abiviiance that fans might want to go to the Jazz at half time, but not really expecting that they would be threaten by tangos that they should leave because the game had started, great way to get the fans onside with this shit show...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Sheffield United (h) sponsored by Colin

Their entire tactics seem to get Basham forward to nick a goal, I don't think they are as good as their league position indicates.

Re: New Manager

Obviously without knowing what happened with Barrow, Clement appeared to handle the issue in an exemplary way assuming there was a disciplinary breach as we were told. He's dealt with McShane's oxf*rd up and Meyler's poor performance pretty spot on too. The only areas where there's really question ...

Re: FA cup 3rd round draw

Same time as the last one, the early KO is utterly shit for any pre match, on top of a 4hr journey up there

Probably out for this now.

Re: BFTG - Ipshit H

We were totally outplayed in the first half by a team that was bottom of the table. They were up for it, we weren't. Both goals were a shambles, the first looked like Jaakola saved it but somehow spilled it into the net. The second was route 1 goal kick from the keeper and Moore either dithered or m...

BFTG Millwall Home

Well that was a nice 3 pts, we rode our luck and somehow came away with a win. It was pretty even before Meite scored, a nice move, cross and header into the corner. Before that it looked like they'd take one of the many chances that fell their way. After the goal we just sat back and let them play,...

Re: BFTG West Brom

As others have said we had a great first half and somehow completely capitulated in the second half. I injured my shin for the first goal, we really looked like we'd win. It all turned to shit with Walker watching a cross and a tap in then us being completely unable to defend set pieces. TBF the Bag...

Re: BFT - I don’t know what to call it

I decided to stay at home and watch it on the red button, in hindsight a wise move. You could tell from the team selection and the first 3 minutes that we were a shambles. Some credit to QPR who we stood off and decided not to press so they could walk though us. On the other hand they worked their s...

BFTG Brentford away

I thought we were unlucky to not win that, a team with confidence at the other end of the table would have won. Their first goal looked well worked and well taken, there was nothing Walker could have done. Our equaliser was odd as it at the other end, a nothing shot looked to have been spilled and B...
