Re: Sheffield Utd - Back from the game

Not me, my boy who was scouting Sheff Utd for upcoming game v LUFC, (he's an RFC fan and former ST holder) "Woeful. Men against boys. Only shining light was Swift who made a huge difference. No other positives whatsoever. Pathetic." Rather think I trust a professional's view on the perfor...

Personally, I'd go 442 but like Brighton last season, I'd have a striker capable of dropping in when we don't have the ball to fill the midfield.

When we win the ball, full on 442.

What would you do?

Re: Thames Valley Whites (Leeds United Supporters Club)

When we played Man United in the cup I saw quite a few messages on here about how people liked Manchester. I've stayed there about 6 times for games + other things and I'd probably say it's my most disliked City in England. It's dirty, I've never felt safe there and the Manchester accent does my hea...

Re: The Manager Sack Race/Merry-go-Round

That's stupid, i was only thinking yesterday whilst listening to Talk Sport that I think he's a great guy and good manager if given more time and patience.

Hope Leicester go down

Re: The Relegation Years

Oh shit  Really? That's embarrassing as I've used that tons of times in work meetings. LOL! Hopefully not when you've been trying to explain to your boss about your recent poor performance. "Don't worry, boss. This is my purple patch." I've pretty much said something of a similar na...

Re: Free coaches to Sheffield.

I think I'm definitely going to do this as long as I can actually get to the stadium that early, I come from Fleet has anyone got experience of a journey to the madstad that early? Bear in mind I don't drive so would probably be public transport. I think you can get picked up from town too - West S...

Re: The idiots of Twitter thread

Oh and also there's not enough :| in the world for people who post things like: "When was the last time Leeds were relevant" "They are such an irrelevant club" WTAF? It's moronic to use the word "relevant" in that context as every club is relevant in the Championship, p...

Re: The idiots of Twitter thread

I left Twitter as I've noticed far more d1cks than normal on there and that includes some of the so called Reading fans who continually post hateful, negative and often unfair comments about Gunter, Stam etc... no matter what the result of the day's game. Constant unrelenting criticism.

Re: Weekend Football

Loved Troy Deeney's comments after the Arsenal game today. Refreshing honesty Yea I thought that. Seems a down to earth guy, rather see him interviewed than 99% of the others who just say "yea obviously, we won and obviously at the end of the day we got 3 points and obviously we take each game...

I heard the win has been ruled out as we didn't take many fans. Is that true?

Re: MATCHWATCH : Leeds United (a) sponsored by a deep dark realisation that this way creeps

Stam out  Not necessary if he plays 4-4-2 and actually lets the team do something with the ball. Only 44% possession and 4 shots on target. Somewhat different to 75% and 1 playing 4-6-0. Was sarcasm m8. In terms of all the impatient children who seem to want to sack him for boring football an...

Oh and I am absolutely delighted for all those fans that went today. They are far far more hardcore than me and they deserve the reward of a win

Re: Leeds v RDG PREDICTIONS

Oh and I'm in full support of JS and will be regardless of result.

It could be different today if he sends the players out angry, hyped up and up for a fight and battle.

Intensity (just a bit), some confidence and grit and we could see a surprise today

Re: Leeds v RDG PREDICTIONS

Reading players break down after 60 seconds when 30'000 Leeds fans on all sides start chanting "Boring boring Reading". Tyler Blackett will give the ball away continually as he looks half asleep and like he's walking through treacle. McCleary will look like a Sunday league player. 4-0 at h...

Re: The Relegation Years

We are far too good a team to go down IMO. We are in a purple patch. Nothing more. We will finish about 14th I think. Would be very concerned if this was our purple patch... Completely agree, it's nothing. It's only 5 games since our last win. People just seem to go full on d1ck mode in football ci...
