Re: Postponement tomorrow?

My mate says it's probably going to get called off. He heard that from the girl who works in the ticket office, who knows the guy in charge of the health and safety in the car park.

Re: Why doesn't the MadStad host concerts and music events?

I imagine its because we are only 30 minutes from London.... Why would a promoter choose Reading when there are several better venues with more people in the catchment. I appreciate that but there's other similar cases. Why choose Bolton when Manchester is 12 minutes away and full of venues Swansea...

Why doesn't the MadStad host concerts and music events?

I heard today that The Killers are playing at Swansea's Stadium and also Bolton's. I remember in 2006 that the Red Hot Chilli Peppers played at the Madejski Stadium but nothing since or before (that I remember).

Is there any reason why we haven't hosted other bands or performances?

Re: MATCHWATCH : Sunderland (a) sponsored by Charlie Hurley

This is a long term project . Piece by piece it's coming together. Keep the faith. Been saying that for weeks and weeks, especially in response to those d1cks on Twatter who seemed to call him out at every opportunity, even after 1-2 games where we actually won. Will we get promoted this season - n...

Re: Gunter to Sunderland?

Just not "these otherwise not great managers played him so he must be". Which is all rather empty. Firstly I'd like to congratulate you on at least putting together a post with an explanation of your views. Rather than "gunter is sh*t" and that's it as some others seem to do. Yo...

They have all been sacked and Stam is just about hanging on.
The other common theme-they all kept picking Gunter.

Re: Gunter to Sunderland?

I would jizz in my pants in excitement if this were true. But seeing as it's obviously kes bullshit I shall stay disappointed. Perfect fit for Sunderland's current side though. Utterly overrated and overpaid mediocre player without a winning bone in his body. Strange how so many people, who probabl...

1. It was farking cold today 2. Atmosphere was terrible from both RFC and the Wednesdayites 3. I really would welcome the drummer back. Just for times when it's dead, I quite liked the old heartbeat type drum which at least was something. It also helps some fans and areas with chants like "blue...

Re: BFTG Wednesday.

I am reliably informed that after failing to pass forward to an unmarked Bacuna and passing backwards instead Paul McShane reacted to the crowds moans by turning towards the Lower West and shouting eff off. Not a great reaction by the skipper of a badly underperforming team. Did anyone else witness...
