Re: Jaap's Radio Comments

So this is the moment, in my view there has been a group of Reading fans who have never taken to Stan, poss. because McD lost his job for him. Eh? I don't know anyone who thinks like this or who has this view. I don't hear anyone even mentioning McDermott so don't think this is correct. Just also t...

Re: Jaap's Radio Comments

Whilst I wasn't booing, I was pretty uninspired by the display and a bit annoyed at another seemingly lethargic and ineffective performance. Week after week we are creating nothing, yet he keeps coming out and saying we were 'unlucky' or the 'better team'?? What I don't get is that managers I thoug...

Re: Jaap's Radio Comments

1) You don't join Reading FC and expect a loud and partisan crowd. Serious question... I know when players are moving they speak to one another and say "I've had an offer from XYZ... any thoughts?". Do you think players at any point will say "Reading have offered a contract, any thou...

Re: Jaap's Radio Comments

Just a few thoughts from myself: - It would take a hell of a lot for me to boo in anyway. As in some sort of issue with owners, finances, club in complete turmoil, not just a few bad and actually soul destroying performances. It was only weeks ago that we beat Aston Villa convincingly and Birmingham...

Re: Jonathan Lowe - does he go to the games?

I also would remember that those who criticise him (and they're the minority considering there's 14000+ other fans who go to games) are criticising him as ReadingFC is a huge part of their life. For many fans they probably just enjoy reading a bit about the club and follow regularly but it's not con...

Re: We should have a 2nd Screen

In regards to 4G, why can I never get any internet services at the ground despite it being connected. Eg I can't get any scores or online stuff but people around me can. I'm on vodafone so is it just because there's loads of other Vodafone users and we all are swamping the network and so we are all ...

Re: Away Games at Jazz Café / Hotel

I think the issue would be that it's a fantastic way to drive away attendances down. If anyone was considering whether to travel to Barnsley for example, spending £100 on a day out and then saw that actually about 200 fans are going up the Jazz to watch in a warm bar with beer flowing, they'd choose...

Re: BFTG Bees

Are people being reactionary or were we really that bad? National reports etc sound like we did ok second half at least. Sky highlights though brief don't exactly show Brentford peppering our goal On paper looks like a handy point I think some are being OTT. Brentford honestly just performed well. ...

Harry Redknapp is a joke but the bigger joke is Birmingham city. Once again going for a big name rather than someone actually capable of managing their team.

Just checked trains and

Reading->Paddington is running continually with no issues

There's no rugby today at Twickenham and no Ascot either.

So waterloo line should be fine

Re: We should have a 2nd Screen

I think the club should get a 2nd big screen over by the ED and West Stand My neck hurts from twisting round all the time. Also the guy next to me continually thinks I'm looking at him and we often have awkward eye-to-eye contact No you don't. You just want something to complain about. If they buil...

Re: Brentford away

Can't you just go Reading->Virginia Water->Brentford and back again? I think the point is that the Reading to Waterloo line will be far busier than normal because of the Paddington line disruption. Makes no difference to me as I am getting on at Bracknell anyway so will always go Waterloo line, jus...

Re: Brentford away

Can't you just go Reading->Virginia Water->Brentford and back again? Yep, exactly what we're doing. £12 return. Sorted. I was wondering what the big issue seems to be then. I've seen tons of tweets now saying about Railway disruption and fans not sure how to get there. I wasn't sure whether I was m...
