Re: Clement

IIRC Dembele went for only £500,000 or so after not agreeing a new contract. One of the bargains of recent years and we could all see that he would become a decent player. BTW isn't there another Sessegnon on the fringes of their first team? We can but hope that one day the millions spent on the Ac...

We'd still find ourselves in a better position than we are now.

Re: The Academy/Development squads watch thread 2015//16

I thought he was going to be a star. He looked like he had time on the ball but he fell out of favour rapidly and sank without trace Think he has had 2 major knee injuries in 2 years. Sounds very unlucky in the injury front - Shame as certainly had ability I think in hindsight, the loan to Dundee U...

Re: If Jokanovic became available

Wasn't meant to be a jab - thought it was a fair question. Jokanovic has a great Championship pedigree, hardly 'another foreign manager' in the Stam mould.

Anyway, honoured to be welcomed into HNA? infamy. So this is what it feels like to be beloved.

If Jokanovic became available

given his job is looking precarious now, what would you do if he became available?

Re: SPECULATION: Wes Foderingham

Prior to Al Habsi's arrival we were linked with Foderingham when out of contract at Swindon. Now well down the pecking order at Rangers and with our goalkeeping situation seemingly undecided, could he be the answer, possibly on a loan deal? Hammersmith boy so would be a lot closer to home... "...

Richards joined at 16 when he was released by Fulham. Was stuck behind some Ryan Sessegnon fella in their academy.

Re: Clement

Yep, can't see him staying on. How long is O'Shea's contract? We could really do with someone in his and McShane's style who isn't either really old and slow or in total decline. Moore, Ilori and A N Other like that, plus back up in Blackett, Holmes et al would do nicely. End of the season. Be inte...

Re: The Academy/Development squads watch thread 2015//16

Did we not play Smith a couple of times last season despite impending doom? Smith is so all round average it hurts though tbf, think House has a bit more guile about him and will end up being the better player of those two, but isn't close to ready for the first team yet. Smith seemed a bit too sim...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Bristol City (h) sponsored by a plea from Terry Cooper

Buy a left back and develop Blackett into a left winger. Buy a left back? Obita will be back before January. Also, Richards could develop further by having a player that does think about the defensive work infront of him - Jobi helped Obita considerably. Thats alright then. Lets just assume he will...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Bristol City (h) sponsored by a plea from Terry Cooper

Few points from this game 1. Walker does not utilise his height from crosses, so poor today with crosses, good few saves though 2. Midfield still needs improving, they don't offer enough defensively 3. Barrow and Baldock both worked hard today but didn't really offer a lot in an attacking sense, fu...

Re: Clement

underhanded? :| Yes. It's deceitful. He's saying who's not to blame, ruling out the only other person fans are blaming but not owning up to it. That's dishonest. Even if you think Stam or BT is more responsible Clement is responsible to. And he's not owning up to that here which is dishonest. His c...

The games themselves have been moderately entertaining, I have no complaints when it comes to value for money. Re: Gourlay

Shirt sponsorship is down to carabao having a veto on other visible sponsors due to the contract as primary partners. Looks like the Thai's stiffed us on that one. I don’t think that’s true, I’m pretty sure we’ve had sponsors on the back the last few seasons (Cherwell?) Exactly. And there was Euro ...
