Re: Clement

Oh I'd never play Gunter again if I thought I had a viable alternative. But with Blackett injured and McShane done, there's not a lot of choice for a third centre back, and if you're going to play wing backs you need three centre backs Wasn't that why we signed O'Shea? We also have McIntyre and u23...

At least we seemed to have a plan, an approach (even if people didn't like it) that filtered through the squad, a plan for academy players and chances.

Re: Tevreden Out, Nani In

Dara is a oxf*rd horrendous woman, really pleased she is going. She's always seemed perfectly pleasant to me. One of her former staff said to me just yesterday that she's "an absolute joy to work with, one of the loveliest and most level headed leaders you could meet". Must be that you ma...

Re: Tevreden Out, Nani In

This is definitely possible, you don't "lose" your Director, your International Recruitment guy, your Marketing Team (all of them I believe), your Academy Manager - plus numerous coaches etc by accident. Worth noting our Interim COO, Steven Falk, was Marketing Director at Manchester Unite...

F u ck Bolton Wanderers. If any club can't sort it's own finances then they deserve everything they get, regardless of the manager. I can't believe you two - you are not supporters. Please fold your accounts. Nailed. '95 still lives long in the memory. Parky or not, they deserve everything coming t...

Re: Tevreden Out, Nani In

Wouldn’t be massively suprised to see him back at Reading as CEO one day. Owners obvs like him and maybe Roselare is experience for Gourlay’s replacement when the time comes Owners obviously want him to see out his contract and then say goodbye more like it. Nice guy or not, he’s been no masterstro...

Re: Gourlay

The bloke has to be on borrowed time. I have no issues with the owners and don’t think any fans should, we could have owners that pick the team etc but we don’t, they’ve invested (record signing, summer 2017, Moore situ where they could have cashed in) and let the football side get on with it. I wi...

So lots of sponsorship lined up for 2019. Can't do anything at the moment as Carabao have restrictions on other things, including a veto on stadium naming. Interesting.. Thais stiffed us there then?

Re: Clement

You nailed that Denver. I forgot Clement. I really thought he would shine. You could see the talent was there last season, he had a great touch and given a bit more freedom looked like a midfielder with late runs and goals in him. The guy looks like he couldn't trap a bag of cement now. Clement had...
