Re: BFTG , Hull.

Hard to argue with that.

Having Eza sit deep really allowed Kelly and Bacuna to get forward, press and support Bod. Was very nice to see.

Damn, we'd looked ok with O'Shea.

Looks more like 4-2-3-1 to me. Kelly and Saied sitting, Baldock and Sims wide. I spose they're not disimilar though

No way was Kelly sitting in the first half. Eza was holding and letting Kelly and Bacuna play much freer behind Bod

Re: MATCHWATCH : Hull City (h) sponsored by a distinct lack of Saturday home wins

Taking off Eza for Swift feels like totally the wrong move.

Back to a midfield of Kelly, swift and bacuna. Lightweight.

Is that not what almost all new managers have to do? :?

Re: BFTG - Norwich

It pains me how powederpuff we are (and last season).

Thinking back to the Coppell and McDermott teams, (almost) every single player would give their all and would tackle hard. YOu just can't do anything in this division if you have no fight

Re: BFTG - Weds H

Perhaps our manager might see that too and do something about it. How. He can't just chase Aluko and Barrow around with a cattleprod until they get to the right place and make a challenge. I'd oxf*rd love to see him try though. Me too. Whatever it takes. The beatings will continue until moral...

Re: Clement

If we sack Clement now, itll be like McDermott's first sacking - the manager being a fall guy for the failings of the other non-player staff. If any non-playing staff should be the first to go, its Tevreden. We need somebody at board level, or one level below, who has experience in building a squad...

Re: BFTG - Weds H

Clement’s interview was sobering. He sounded totally beaten. I really want him to succeed but I think this is going to end unhappily for him. Little point in changing the manager. Hopefully the Chinese owners aspirations are long term. What we need is continuity. To rebuild the club. Personally I l...

Re: BFTG - Aston Villa (A)

Didn't go, but that's my feeling on this team too Bolton game aside (which was the worst of Stam), we're a settled centre midfield away from being half decent. As I don't go to many away games these days, I thought I would indulge myself in a BFTG post. Maybe my expectations are lower than most but ...

Re: Clement OUT!!!!

Thought Cooper was man of the match when we lost to Millwall last season. Wouldn't have blamed him if he'd walked up to Stam and laughed in his face that day. Is this the same Jake Cooper who made a mistake leading to a clear cut chance or goal in pretty much every game in the second half of 2015/1...
