Re: BFTG - Wolves

Enjoyed that game tbf, but it hasn't raised my opinion of Stam at all. Why the change from the last couple of games? And Beerens is just painfully lightweight and should never have been playing in such a fast and physical match. The man is a fukking pansy. Bacuna just had very weird off day and shou...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Wolverhampton Wanderers (h) sponsored by the search for a Saturday home win

Beerens is just too light weight for a game like this

Don't think we've been too bad tbh

Re: BFTG - Ramming the Rams

Of course the top 6 is in reach, an 8pt gap with 2/3rds of the season to go is nothing. We need to carry this form on for a prolonged period though. Positive signs. We need 74-75 points for 6th therefore 56-57 points from 30 games. Do-able but it's damn near automatic promotion form required from h...

Re: whats your favourite save of all time

Not one save in particular, but my favourite goalkeeping performance of all time was Nicky Hammond's at home to Cardiff in (I think) an FA Cup replay at Elm Park. I think we drew 1-1, and then won on penalties, but Hammond spent what seemed like most the game springing around like a demented cricke...

Re: BFTG - Middlesbrough

I also agree Gourlay wont have the patience but if Reading win tomorrow Stam buys himself more time and then that slightly easier run of games comes and lets say we win 5/6 and end up in about 10th all this will be forgotten about - but that's just the nature of Reading fans always been very fickle...

Re: BFTG - Middlesbrough

Smith made endless diagonal runs in front of defender and I'm not sure anyone noticed once. What is with Stam and tactics not fitting his teams? Last week it was direct footy with no striker. This time, a striker making runs but we play slow and ponderous ......and has all the oomph been trained out...

Re: BFTG - Middlesbrough

Yeah that was awful, and watching the whole team give up at 2-0 was painful to watch. I've left a game early 3 times in my life, but today i just could see out the final whistle and went for a piss instead. Says it all really Just how bad was Blackett for the second? Admittedly not helped, b...

I really struggle to like him purely due to the obnoxiously arrogant sneer he always has on his face

wrttop, hopefully he will crack on and sustain this (needs to stay at Spurs for a bit) and not join the legions of young ex-hopefuls

Bloody hell Wolves look good.

I know they're now basically a Portuguese training club, but its really working for them. Lots of young, fast, hungry, technically skilled players

Re: Jaap's Radio Comments

You know the way he wants us to play, if you don't like it, don't go. The owners aren't going to be happy wih declining revenues as footfall decreases. The poor away attendance suggests that the issue isn't just related to Reading. Continental style football perhaps isn't going down too well. Very ...

It always seems to me that we play better in Stam's preferred system with 3cb's but Stam also doesn't seem to want to play that way.

BFTG - Hull

Christ we're really not very good right now. No movement, no cutting edge, no vision. Just monotonous passing that is more muscle memory than thought. I know Brum were rubbish, but what has happened since that game? That said, got out of jail against an average team that always had a bit of threat. ...
