Re: Generic clubs in financial crisis Thread

QPR hit with £42m fine and January transfer embargo for breaching FFP https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/44980113 Not quite a $42m fine, which would have been better. Basically its a $17m fine and the shareholders write off $22m owed to them. Am I right in thinking the fine is then dished out to ...

Re: Sam Baldock

Fairly well respected at Brighton. Seen as a 'top' Championship striker. Certainly better than anything we've got at the moment. Would be interesting to see how Jon Dadi comes back after the World Cup After being on the big stage i quite fancy he'll step up and give us a few extra goals this season...

Re: The Non - League thread

And the ********* about in non-league at Steps 3 & 4 continues. Out of nowhere Shaw Lane have resigned from the Evostik Northern League due to a failure to find investment. So rather than just deciding to play that league with one team less and deal with the gap next year the leagues have decid...

Any Dads on here whos kids are into the F2 and all the freestylers may want to look away when they see that "HashTag United" are submitting a team into the pyramid The bloke who set this up sounds a complete tool when my son watches him on YouTube: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/4428...

Re: Next seasons kit choice?

I quite like those but as you said, they'll be nothing like the templates Puma give us. Palace's template is likely to be used for at least one of our kits, and that's not particularly offensive so I won't be too bothered. It would be good to have a new supplier who will create bespoke kits but tha...

Re: Back from the ****

My 6 yr old wanted to stay and see if the team came back out to acknowledge the fans who stayed behind Obviously you could see that most of the players were shellshocked either by how s**t they'd played together as a team or by Clement letting loose on them Mannone looked like a man broken,Gunter si...

Re: South Stand Singers For Sunderland (H)

It's a sad indictment of where the club's fan base is that we have to have an organised positive atmosphere section. Palace, Huddersfield, Real Madrid, a LOT of German clubs... all have organised atmosphere sections. Man Utd talked about having one. Other clubs try different things to improve the a...

I was there for that Halifax game ! It was freezing cold and pissing down . I know the crowd was less than 1000 all in I reckon we had about 30 there ...true fans ! :D We won 1-0 with a Caskey penalty , what a night ! http://www.royals.org/matdoc/301199.html Looks like the attendance was ~2,000 and...

All were only too happy to sign a 5 yr olds programme except Blackett who ignored the whole line asking for his autograph, maybe remember that you actually are trying to win over the fans
