Re: Next seasons kit choice?

Unthinkable that any club would miss the opportunity to fleece, ahem, *reward* their loyal supporters with a new kit every season. No fire sale yet though, just a modest discount. The sort of discount you'd expect in January, not once the season is already over. I guessing next season's kit will be...

Re: Summer Transfers

Agree that the coaching methods have to be carefully looked at over Summer - this team severely underperformed, and it can't just be pinned on a couple of lacklustre signings or the manager. Having said that, we'll obviously look to improve the squad over Summer. It could be completely overhauled, t...

Re: How Are You Feeling?

If one of the three B's fall behind early, then it will be a lot less tense and we can just get this season over and done with. If one or more of them go a goal up, however, it's going to be a horrible afternoon.

Can't really see us going down now, would take a pretty unlikely set of results. Not that nervous.

Re: BFTG Sunderland

Possible controversial opinion - I enjoyed the return of a drummer in the north-east corner. Was a pretty poor performance overall, though 80 mins onwards was pretty good entertainment. Sunderland should have had two in the first half, Moore's clearance off the line was top class. Edwards, Aluko, Ri...

Re: Season Defining Moments

No it was 3 sending offs First, I must say that It seems odd that i’m joining in to a rational discussion that involves double d. Secondly, it was not 3 sendings off, it was 2 and an injury. Had Yeovil lost one more player either by an injury or by a sending off, then the Referee would have to had ...

Think they had two sent off and another went off through injury so played against 8 men for the last 10 minutes or so. Couldn't believe we didn't score.

Re: Season Defining Moments

Manset's goal to make it 3-2 vs Bristol City in 2011. I seem to remember that being the game where we really came together as a team, and although it was relatively early in the season, gave us the confidence to win games and eventually the title after a very poor start.

Re: BFG QPR

Still haven't won at home on a Saturday this season - Clement out. In all seriousness it was a fantastic result, but we did ride our luck at times. QPR could've had at least one or two in the first half, and we offered very little offensively in the second half. Still, there were obvious signs of i...

Re: who do you want as the new manager

Would be solidly whelmed with Clement. Not sure if it would be a long-term appointment, I suppose we can't be too picky right now, just need to stay up and regroup in the Summer.

Re: Relegation

Still can get odds of 9.00 on William Hill, I was able to boost that to 9.68 too. Feels really dirty betting on it but I have a feeling there's a far greater chance of us going down than the 10% the odds imply, and would help soften the blow. Hopefully I've now guaranteed our survival, but we'll see...

Re: Are We Going Daawn Poll?

We're certainly in a relegation scrap, but I think we'll manage to stay up. I'd much rather be in our position than any of Sunderland, Burton, Barnsley, Hull, or Birmingham's. We are bad, but nobody below us really looks a whole lot better. You say that but we are in worse form than everyone else i...

Probably something like: Mannone Gunter - Moore - Ilori - Richards Bacuna - Kelly Aluko - Swift - Barrow Bod And then the possibility of replacing one of the midfield with Martin to go two up front. Aluko hasn't been very good, but occasionally shows flashes of being a good player whilst McCleary lo...

Re: Unfortunately ANOTHER In or Out poll

Hull are in better form than us. Iirc they've picked up two to three times as many points as us in the last six games. It's perfectly believable they'll be above us inside a week or two. 2 to 3 times our points tally over the last 6 games still isn't particularly impressive. EDIT: Just had a look, ...
