Re: Berks and Bucks Senior Cup 2018/19

Stranded Interestingly* the Berks and Bucks website lists the result as Reading Firsts - so seem to be classing this as a first XI fixture - so do these appearances count as first team games for the academy players?

Hi. No. These games are not recorded anywhere as being first team appearances.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Leeds United (h) sponsored by Brian McDermott

Tuesday night cant come quick enough for a nailed on 3 pointer to Leeds. This is considered the worst away ground in the Championship, with the most dullest atmosphere and supporters. Cant believe you have reduced the away allocation so a few can bang an embarrassing drum in what should be given ov...

Agree with a couple of others on this. This could be a stalemate. Would be VERY happy to be proved wrong with a sneaky home win !

Re: Club 1871 - the What, When, Where, How, Who & Why Thread

More importantly, Wigan fans are not particularly looking forward to Saturday. They won't have many fans here. If the 500-600+ in 1871 can generate some noise, and the East Stand follows...then this can only be good news in what is a huge game for the club. Forget the agenda of what some individuals...

500+. Fair play to you folks. Enjoy the free beer.

Massive game, and as far as I am concerned, the more noise/fans from us the better. Let's do it.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Ipswich Town (a) sponsored by Noel Hunt

would you want it anyother way? Remember Steve Richardsons equaliser there back in ‘87....it gave us our highest EVER league finish to date then. Also remember being herded into a caged corner of their stadium where we were liberally ‘coined’ Still got the 50p that nearly took my eye out.....nicepl...

Re: BFTG Ipswich

Great day out. Martinez was superb. Excellent finish by Barrow. Though Ejaria was superb in the first half. Second half we sat back too much, which was a worry. Still felt we would hang on before they scored. Then up stepped Mr Barrow. Total carnage at the end. Hugging folks I will never see again. ...

What watering holes are good? Station Hotel is right outside the railway station and is an "away fans" pub. About half a mile stagger to ground. Or, a short walk away from the ground is an area called Ipswich waterfront. Lots of bars in the area. Seem to remember a few... ....Steamboat Ta...

Re: Ipswich (A)

Club have taken up increased allocation of just over 1600. So assume initial 1100 now sold. How come this tie is so popular? I know the tickets are cheap but it seems like a cr*ppy journey. Probably the importance of the game. Maybe our last chance of an away win at this level for a while (hopefull...
