Re: George Evans

Slightly disappointing. Thought he looked like he looked a good player 2 years ago. Had a very poor season last year though so can't begrudge the club for wanting rid. Could become a really good player if he plays week in week out. Can't see him being in league 1 for long. He wasn't going to play mu...

Speculation - Demetri Mitchell

Linked with Derby and could be a great left wing back in a 3-5-2 formation. Would be a useful option to compete with Obita when he returns and is cheap. Would rather a natural left footer play there instead of Gunter or Blackett too. Richards can then be loaned out. Https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/fo...

Re: Rumour - Lamine Kone

I really don't like our current transfer policy whether this is true or not.

We need to be trying to sign young hungry players. Not old players who have had poor seasons or been relegated.

Would rather spend 30% of Moore's fee on Matt Clarke from Pompey.

I'd be happy with that, as long as we do get the high profile striker in. This guy isn't going to bang 20 goals is he. Where's the ambition?

He could do if he got service

Re: Season 2018/2019

Of the promoted sides I think Wigan and Blackburn will do ok. I can't see Rotherham surviving though. The 2 others is hard to call at the moment though Bolton could be a good bet to go back down. I can't see us having a great season though. I reckon we will finish no higher than 15th unless we stren...

Would be nice to start at home next season. We've been away first a lot over recent years. Hopefully we will get a home boxing day tie as well. An away game first usually means a poor start.

South Stand

Heard that half the south stand will be home fans only from next season. Away fans will get allocations of up to 2,400 from next year as owners and management want to give away fans less advantage.

League One Playoffs

Who would you like to see win them?

I really hope Shrewsbury do it. Would slightly make up for Burton going down and would be a new ground for me.

Re: Pre Season 2018/19

I remember moaning about the shambles pre-season last summer when we arranged no friendlies with UK teams and played 3 games. Hope we get 4 or 5 friendlies arranged before the play-off final in 2 weeks.

Now Barnsley are relegated, why don't we take a punt on Tom Bradshaw. Could get him pretty cheaply too

Aluko just has no footballing brain. He takes five touches when he needs one - usually five low quality touches, dwells on the ball, can't hold a position, delays passes and crosses, constantly turns into trouble and barely ever plays to the whistle. In a quality free flowing team full of confidenc...

Re: BFTT Cardiff

That was brilliant. Not the game or necessarily our intent to win the game (although tactically we were spot on) but just the occasion. Both sides looked very nervy, we were as strong in defence away from home as I have seen in a very long time. It isn't often that both sets of fans leave a stadium ...
