Re: Player of the season

Bit ironic that with one of the worst defensive records on the division we are debating which defender has been our POTS! When you put it like that  Just looked we've conceded 3 more goals than last season! Still though, on a player for player basis it's got to be Moore imo. It's not his fault...

Re: Player of the season

Moore.

Al-Habsi has been important but I think if we'd be in a lower position without Moore, than without the former.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Wigan Athletic (h) sponsored by 1 point needed

Bank holiday should boost the crowd, it's not like people go abroad for the weekend. People can go to the game and still have 2 days to sit around and watch television. Having said that I can see it being well under 20k which will be a shame. The one concern I have over the summer is that Stam will...

Not really in keeping with our family club philosophy, admittedly.

Re: Rival Watch

I enjoyed reading Mr. Low's in-depth analysis about our chances this morning. It expertly deduced that we can either confirm our place in the playoffs, or miss out, and if we do get in, we can either go up or not. http://www.getreading.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/reading-fc-play-offs-...

Wigan (H) - Predictions

Final home game of the season and an opportunity to simultaneously confirm our spot in the playoffs and relegate Wigan back to League One. Hopefully Forrest was a bit of a wake up call seeing how hard it can be to get a result against a team fighting for their lives. That being said, realistically, ...

Re: BFTG - Forest

He'd quickly become the new scapegoat I think. Couldn't stop Reading conceding 2 against Leicester, or Chelsea, in the last two U23 games he played - and we all know how influential the rightback/right wing-back position is, so it was clearly his fault. In all seriousness, I wish he'd been gi...

Apparently people still think Leeds are more likely to get promoted then us, despite them almost certainly not even finishing in the playoffs.

Maybe they are expecting a relegation battle and so it would be good to have someone with experience of getting out of jail.

Weird.

The expectation was promotion, was the minimum aim, and tbh it's never really looked in doubt.

Re: Calling all stattos

Another statto question, anyone know what the most of amount of goals conceded is for a promoted team? Since 95/96 the average amount of goals conceded for a promoted team is 50. The highest in that period is Crystal Palace who went up through the playoffs finishing the regular season with 62 goals...
