Re: The Stam passing game

That's not my definition of success, and I hope the team didn't view it as success either. Good grief  I know I'm being very pedantic, but the definition of success is "the accomplishment of an aim or purpose." Whilst it might not have been at the start of the season, it certainly w...

Re: Back From The Match - Preston

Getting close to writing this season off. Its clear we are an utter sack of s*ite away from home and it's clear it's not going to improve. Kind of like last season? No, last season we had "moments"........This season we have offered absolutely NOTHING in our two away matches so far. Blame...

Re: The Stam passing game

I think a lot of frustration builds from the fact we can go to playing well one game and shit the next and there isn't that continuous match on match improvement which id like to see. Point proved tonight. Yep. Though in some sort of mitigation our entire midfield was different after 30 mins. But t...

Exactly

What we need are more midfielders........,.

What we need are for the players we actually have to stop routinely forgetting they're footballers and actually do the basics right.

Re: Back From The Match - Preston

I finally got my iFollow sorted so I was just happy to watch the match. I like what I see in Mo Barrow. Too bad Liam Kelly got hurt. Our problem today was that last cross or pass was just poor. I think Stam will fix it, the players need time to gel. Interesting. I thought it was the first pass that...

ONE shot on target      Started with no striker upfront then lost our two most creative players, away from home Why are you surprised? In fairness if the player's that were on the pitch played to their ability I'm sure they could have mustered up a decent couple of chances....

Re: MATCHWATCH : Preston North End (a) sponsored by the first long trek of the season

ONE shot on target      I don't even remember it. It was a Mendes header from a free kick. The Preston goalkeeper almost had to move to catch it, would've been a lot of unnecessary work for him on his day off Oh yeah now I recall, his first touch after he came on... ..In th...

There are some more:

A) I didn't travel 250 miles to watch that filth and

B) we've got our annual battering by Preston out f the way early doors

I've never been more grateful to be 6000 miles away from the UK.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Preston North End (a) sponsored by the first long trek of the season

The word to describe that performance was amateur.

Truly clueless. Mannone only one to come out of that with any real credit. We could have played for 3 days and we wouldn't have scored.

Score line flattered us massively.

Zero threat throughout - but on the upside it's better than losing 3-0 so there is some improvement on 5 months ago

let's be real, it should have been about 4.

Bacuna booked for dissent. Sarcastically claps the ref then gives him a thumbs up.

2 cracking saves from Mannone already, looks to be a really good purchase.
