Re: Team for Preston (A)

Hypothetically speaking of course, but do you think we’d do significantly worse if we just fielded one less player? I’m not sure we would. We're pretty used to playing with 10 every time Aluko gets named in the side, so doubt there'd be much difference. But obvs depends which player you take out We...

Re: Rival Watch

Seriously if people are repeating this kind of crud from reality TV, they probably shouldn't be the ones throwing the insults around. Strange comment. Have you thought your argument through properly? Nope. But i stand by my comment.[/quote] Haha fair enough. Tbf I’m only speaking from personal expe...

Re: Rival Watch

Disagree. Melt is a pretty good insult. It’s both patronising and hard hitting without being vulgar or particularly rude.

Re: My first rumour report. Things not well at Reading.

RIght now making origami with your cash and then setting it on fire is a better cause than spending it on RFC, although tbf I’m fairly certain that’s how BT and co implement our policy anyway.

Re: Team for Preston (A)

But despite our situation our our actual back 4 really is the least of our concerns, in the right system it should be quite solid. Since we’ve gone to 4-4-2 in the league (Blackburn away) we’ve lost all kinds of protection and are far more open. Despite looking even less likely to score I think we s...

Re: Team for Preston (A)

Does it even matter what combination of 11 players we put out? It will be just as inept as the one before and the one after. It’s about time we had a team selection thread! This forum has been taken over by prediction threads that are pointless / depressing so this is a breath of fresh air! I’d arg...

Re: Ex Players

Then we had a change of manager over that period. I was gutted, because I felt the owner at the time was ruining the club. He had knocked everything we had done and built, because it was his club. That was his prerogative. “But I was one of the longest serving there, along with Adam Federici, I fel...

Imagine if we win 4-0 and it’s the catalyst for an unbeaten run of 25 games on our way to the title with over 100 points.

Would be jokes.

Re: Team for Preston (A)

Errr... isn't that exactly what we did against Weds? Personally, has to be Yiadom on the right and preferably Blackett on the left for me. If Gunter has to play, he should be played on the left where he was consistently ok last season, as opposed to consistently weak at right back for ever. The mai...

Re: Team for Preston (A)

As mentioned on here already Sims must play and also Aluko needs dropping after his performance last game. I don't care whether you are the club's record signing or not if you are bottling tackles and walking back when your team is under the cosh then I probably speak for everyone when I say you're...

Reading FC Direct update - membership

Have they updated this? They've completely fcuked it. I click membership and is telling me to buy it for £3-5, I then go onto "ticketing loyalty points" and it has wiped pretty much everything. Anyone else experiencing this?

Re: Loudest ever away fans at Mad Stad?

Remember Newcastle 09/10 being particularly loud. In comparison was disappointing with their showing a couple of seasons ago, but then again their performance probably didn't inspire.
