Re: MATCHWATCH : Wolverhampton Wanderers (h) sponsored by the search for a Saturday home win

Notice that on their forum they're buying up south west home seats and smatterings of lower west as they've sold out their allocation.

Re: BFTG - Middlesbrough

Let's be honest, with a view to our performances at the moment, if we had no manager at all but someone said 'look lads, go out and play to your strengths and enjoy yourselves would we 1) get the same results i.e lose (but maybe by a larger margin) or maybe get the couple of wins against teams we re...

Simple thing is we just need to play better. Tactics going forward need to be better, movement needs to be better and we need to stop conceding every bloody game

Is Stam incapable of changing tactics

No he's not.
When we play well ( Birmingham, Leeds, Villa) he changes the team and formation next game.
If an individual plays well (Kelly, Evans etc), he's on the bench next game.

Once again another team and formation.
Obviously doesn't work at all so let's look forward to a defensive change at 88 minutes.

Re: Phil Parky's blue and white army

Low crowd mainly due to encroaching into Saturday night and also on Sky, but maybe there's more excitement to be had sitting at home staring at the carpet.

Yes we have

No we haven't.
In any walk of life, if you have had even moderate but consistent success you haven't been spoilt you've earned it.

However if you then start to not do as well, you've basically gone downhill.

Re: Renewed pessimism/interest

Good point from top flight regarding riskier passing. Around me, when someone tries a really incisive pass but it goes wrong, most people say 'oh, hard luck, good idea etc' . They don't go f...ing useless w@nker. They sincerely want to see good football. Secondly, what I really don't get is that Sta...

Re: Renewed pessimism/interest

Interesting... My story is this. My daughter and I are relatively new to Reading FC having started in 2011 and have been to virtually every home match since and probably about 10-12 aways per season. Now my wife has started going since just before Stam's tenure. The missus is still eager to go every...

Re: BFTG - Birmingham City

Listened to BBC West Midlands on the way back and the twatish commentator said it wasn't a good result against the most boring dull team in football (as is also mentioned on their forum). Now I'm no expert but that was not a dull display. Plenty of good forward searching passes, chances and two goal...

Re: BFTG - Birmingham City

My two pennies worth. Praise where it's due after a lot of negativity. I thought Blackett was immense today as was Moore. Bacuna and Barrow have brought in the extra pace that was missing which gave Kelly a lot more Impetus. ( I felt previously that Swift was starting to hold play up more and more b...

Re: Post Game Traffic

Probably the same person who created the new local (not F1) bus area that faces out onto the road where everyone walks when leaving the stadium, resulting in at least a twenty minute wait until the crowd has cleared?

Re: New Royal Rewards Loyalty Scheme

I think you are talking about the my Waitrose card. Gives you 20% on my Waitrose deals and targets your spending patterns to 'advise' you when something you often buy is on offer. Whereas a myjohnlewis card is a piece of plastic you keep in a wallet that you get scanned for no reason in John Lewis w...

Re: Parking

Thing is, it's OK saying 'well use public transport then' , but where I live the bus is packed by the second stop and there's still a few more stops after that. This new initiative will obviously push more onto the buses- but will more be layed on? Doubt it. I also believe that the reason for the ri...
