Re: Generic clubs in financial crisis Thread

Apparently Real Madrid aren’t exactly in comfort street either. Heard the media mention RM will need to sell in the summer to try and alleviate their debts. Anyone know if that’s just standard media hype or if RM are looking a bit dodgy at the moment. The spanish government will probably bail them ...

Re: The Non - League thread

Now there are 4 divisions at step 3, does that mean the bottom 4 in NLS and the bottom 4 in NLN will be relegated to accommodate 2 promotion places in each Step 3 division? There was talk of there being a "Super play off" at Step 3 so that only 6 teams from theat level went up. A terrible...

Re: The Non - League thread

Cinderford sure to appeal being placed in the EAST division (that must be an error), so maybe Thatcham will go East?

Also the East and Central southern leagues are the wrong way round, whats that all about?

Re: The Non - League thread

Congratulations to Slough Town who scored an 89th minute winner at King’s Lynn today to win the game 2-1 and therefore join the National League South next season. Been a brilliant season for a lot of Berkshire non league sides this season; Slough back into the conference leagues, Maidenhead finishi...

Hartley Wintney set to be promoted, regardless of the result in their play off final v Cambridge City. They are the highest point scorers of all the play off finalists at step 4 and will replace the now defunct Thurrock.

Re: The Non - League thread

Lots of lower placed sides playing away had a good night in the NL play offs, although great home wins for Slough and Hartley Wintney in the SL. Last season, of the 12 NL divisions that have play offs, 10 were won by the team finishing 2nd. The other 2 were won by teams who finished 3rd. I like the...

Coventry v Morecambe going to be very much in the spotlight next weekend.

Both teams need a point for play-offs/stay up. Currently 2/1 with PP. Will be evens by Saturday. Would be 1/3 in any other country.

Re: The Non - League thread

Bracknell Town 8-0 Tuffley Rovers Second place by just two goals. Both Bracknell and Thatcham doing enough to win the title in any normal year, but at least its 2 up this season. Would have been grossly unfair on Thatcham if Bracknell had won by 10. It really isnt that difficult to arrange the fina...

Re: THE BETTING THREAD

365 in play offer Tuesday night Liverpool vs Roma Ive been chopped to £25. Any idea what sort of algorithm they use for this? It seems to be how regularly you bet on football, not how often you take advantage of the offer. If you do loads of accas, it seems they think they have you on board, so no ...

Re: The Non - League thread

Does look like Dartford and Havant could end up with a last day GD shootout. they may even start level on points and GD. Meanwhile, in the NL North, before the weekend Gainbororugh Trinity had never been either promoted or relegated in their entire 145 year history. They are now relegated to t...

https://www.footballwebpages.co.uk/southern-football-league-premier-division/league-table Gosport won their third game of the season yesterday. Reading about non league football (conference) league from 2000-01 till now on wiki. Some proper nostalgic teams in there if anybody remembers. Scarborough (RIPIP) Hayes Leigh RMI Boston Rushden and Diamonds (RIPIP) Gravesend and Northfleet Farnborough (never knew they ever went that high!) The for...

Re: The Non - League thread

Good freebie at Maidenhead last night. Played well, deserved the win. That said they'll definitely get relegated next season. I think if they recruit decent enough they wont go down. There are some god awful teams in that league. Of course if they kept tarpey they would be alot nearer the playoffs....

Re: VAR

Big VAR call in the Milan Derby last night, that finished 0-0 Inter score, huge celebrations. Wait a minute, I think his right arm might have been offside. It was, but talk about killing the moment. The celebration of a goal is the best moment in a football match. Best think twice before celebrating...

You could try knocking down the stadium, rebuilding EP brick by brick and replacing all of the fans? That might be a start.
