Re: Players' wages since 1984

You can see a spike (well you would if you'd done an excel graph  ) in the 00-01 season, across tiers 2, 3 and 4. This, I think, would be the effect of the ITV digital deal.

ITV Digital?

That finally died in 01-02 season, iirc. I'd say unlikely.

When I went, I was genuinely surprised how atmospheric it actually was.

I have a lot more respect for United now I'm up in the city.

If he goes shopping, he drives the 200m to his local Tescos (its along Deansgate) and takes the parking ticket as a parking fee.

I just tried to upload the highlights of the United vs. City game to pornhub.com but apparently they don't accept rape videos.

Re: Elite Player Performance Plan

I just can#'t understand why RFC would support it - they either drastically needed the youth development money that the PL were about to withhold, or they plan to be a Category One Academy themselves - but that is estimated to cost £2.5M a year and has such conditions as needing residential accommo...

Yes.

The Yank thing is just lazy - there's lots of them and Major League Sports don't have relegation - therefore the yank owners in the Prem don't want relegation.

Lazy journalism.

Funny thing is even on the rare occasions Finerain may have a point, he ruins it with unnecessary slandering of others. Lest I remind Finerain of our glorious Euros record:- 1964 - DNQ 1968 - 3rd 1972 - DNQ 1976 - DNQ 1980 - First round 1984 - DNQ 1988 - First round 1992 - DNQ 1996 - Semi Final 200...
